low price for Christmas and good design for the game.

Not much to say. It's another 2D Mario game and it's really fun. If you like 2D Mario games, just buy it. If you are tired of them, skip it.

This is your typical Mario side scrolling game. It's got some new features which is nice and it has good co-op play.

My biggest complaint with this game isn’t the game itself, but the fact that I have to pay $60 for a game that has been around for years and came out on the previous console, The game itself is acceptable, although the difficulty level is a bit on the high side as you progress. Give us a new Mario title.

As most of us know, this game is a port of a Wii U title that came out 6 years ago. However it's got quite a bit more going on under the hood. The game now runs at 1080p 60 fps as apposed to 720p on Wii U. There are more characters to choose from and there are some new levels. Overall even if you have played this game on Wii U, I suggest picking it up as it's perfect, family-friendly, fun.

Most bored I have ever been playing a Mario game. Level design is adequate but uninspired, backgrounds look like a mediocre mobile game, music is gross to annoying; character and enemy models look good but there's not enough NEW enemies or even a general variety of enemies. Wasn't expecting a masterpiece here, but if you already have the Switch Online Service with the free Mario 2D games, just play Mario 3 or BUY DONKEY KONG CONTRY TROPICAL FREEZE. That game is at least 5 times as good

Great game as long as you didn't play the Wii U version

Game play is kind of annoying to play multiplayer with other people because you interfere with one another. Also, shouldn’t be $60 since it’s a re-release.

I will update once I’ve finally been able to play it but be wary of buying a digital copy. I purchased it yesterday to play this weekend and was emailed a code ( 3 times - 2 were different?) to use in the digital library. Library is empty and was told it could be up to 48 hours to get a new email with the correct code because they can’t right now. First and probably last time I’ll use Best Buy for digital download.

Nothing makes since. It's the same garbage that was forced on the Wii U. Just with worse control options. For example, the item button is not the "B" button but the hard to reach, and small "R" button. The B button does nothing in that menu.
