This Deluxe edition of a Wii U port arguably is a lesser experience than the original. It’s fun, sure. But is it a well designed original and creative Mario game? Not really. Wait for a good sale, or buy a better Mario game like Odyssey or Mario Maker 2.

Casual Gaming at it's most mediocre

My main issue with this game is that all the character feel really slow to move about. I can't put my finger on it but it's as if they had sandbags at their feet. A platformer game like this requires being nimble and for some reason it's not present in this Marion game. Stick to Odyssey which is way better.
