I never owned the original on the Wii U but I have played it quite a bit. I decided to pick this up as it's one of my favorite co-op games and I must say, It's almost exactly the same as the original. If you own the original or think it might be updated it's not. However if you're new to it I highly recommend! Plus its nice to have on the go!

If you like the Wii mario brothers you will like this game. Wish they would have added something a little more to it because it feels like I just spent money on a game I already own.

Very fun like the original on the Wii U. Not a whole lot has changed except that it comes with the Luigi version of the game that was already out on Wii U as well. Now you can play as Toadette that becomes Peachette and Nabbit. Toadette Olaya like Toad except when she becomes Peacette, she Levitates and has a really great high jump. Nabbit can get any power-ups of any kind but he’s also invincible with enemies. Giving it 3 stars because Nintendo could have added more stages or worlds to a game that has already been released on the Wii U.

Classic Mario you love just one the new switch, so must buy

Great game, graphics are great. Fun and easy to use.

My kids love fortnite and will try a new game for a bit then quickly get over it. Not so much the case with this game. Game play is easy and entertaining. Being able to play with friends makes it even better. Although they still play fortnite, this game has been a huge hit! They play together and is the go to game when they have company.

My favorite thing about this game is my 8 year old and I can play it and both enjoy it. With characters that make the game easier I can have some challenge and he can still keep up.

This game doesn't introduce anything revolutionary in gaming, but still remains a highly enjoyable platformer. There's plenty of challenging levels to conqueror, and it supports co-op from the get-go. Great fun for the whole family. A nice title to hold you over until Super Mario Maker 2 comes out this Summer. I wouldn't choose this as an early title to get when purchasing a Nintendo Switch, but once you have a library going, this is a great filler title. There just simply are too many great games to play first. Here's too hoping more previous Mario titles are ported over to the Switch in the near future. I'm hoping for Super Mario Sunshine myself.

Absolutely love this game. My grandson and nephew and my husband all had a blast with game. I have even got my sister to buy it now. Live it!!

Boys loved the game played multiple times just had so much fun with this game recommend for sure you can’t go wrong with it

Awesome game. Easy to follow and challenging enough as well. Fun game especially if you are teamed up with 3 other players.

Who doesn't Love Mario!!! Super fun game for all ages!

Really fun game, it’s your typical Mario game, the same style I grew up playing but with really good graphics. Lots of levels, in different “worlds” (water, ice, desert, air and etc).. literally lots of entertaining hours if you’re trying to do 100%, I absolutely love it!
