This was a "most wanted" item on my grandson's list. Best Buy had it in stock, and it was a great price.

If you have the wii U version, there is not much difference. But nintendo did a great job remastering and adding a few new extras.

It has been awhile since I played a Mario game and I enjoyed playing this one plus the coop feature makes things interesting.

Excellent choice for family time. Only downside is story is actually quite short.

Back when this was released on the Wii U the name it earned was "how to start a fight with your significant other". Outside of that, pretty much the same game with minor updates for the Switch. Still a blast to play.

This is the same game that is available on the Wii-U, but with the additional of new characters. I love that they've added a character that is easy for younger kids to play (and is invincible, except for falls) - and has other characters for a variety of levels of experience. It makes it playable for the whole family, as a group.
