Can’t give Mario anything but 5 stars though it was not bought for me but as a gift for my son.

This is exactly what you expect from a 2D Super Mario platformer. Being that this game was a port from the Wii U, it does feel like an older game, but the mechanics are great and the gameplay is fluid. Definitely recommend this game if you love 2D Mario platformers.

Know that this game is the standard mario story but that is all it is. Nothing else. If you want this kind of story but more random and the ability to craft and explore others levels in this art style and lots of others, then get Super Mario Maker 2! That is the best.

I love the game wven though i cant pass the game my granddaughter plays better then me

My 3 year old will not put it down! He has mastered it better than me and loves it! When he wakes up he goes right for the game (not good as far as screen time), but he LOVES it. It's a lot of fun for the kids. My 6 year old loves it too when he can get it from the 3 yr old.

I didn’t have this on the U so wanted to pick it up on the switch. It’s a standard good Mario game that you are used to. Nothing too revolutionary but it’s fun

Fun game that the entire family can play, even the younger ones.

Great game I like that there are multiple layers to the game. You have the Mario side of the game then the Luigi side, and also collect all the star coins then there are star levels.

Great game, I love the old ones, but the new Mario games have the same charm. Good for the family as well. Also has bonus games, like speed runs and other stuff.

The game is great platforming fun and it only adds with more people. Kids can get some help with easier characters like nabit and peachette.

The game reminds me of Super Mario World and Super Mario Brothers 3 but has lots more challenging levels. It is super fun! The fact that we can play the levels at the same time with multiple players is a really neat feature! Love this game!

Bought this to play with my wife! We spent hours playing it! Definitely one of our new favorite nintendo games!

Great 2d platforming title . Great addition to the Nintendo switch library gives an old school feel and modernize it to the new audience
