I had the original Nintendo and loved most of the Mario Bro’s content. My grandson is the next generation and seems to like is as much as I did.

We look for shared screen games that Aren’t overly complicated to play. We are both kinda old (50) and don’t enjoy most newer style games since most just have too much stuff to learn and manage. Basically, it’s what you expect from Mario. We’ve had a few weekends of crummy weather here and have enjoyed just chilling out and playing a good game. It’s tough but not insanely so, and not so simple that you get bored with it. We’ve both enjoyed it, and will continue to play it as our downtime permits.

It's kind of nice that you can't just a zip through it very quickly. I'm also not an experienced gamer so that may be part of it.
