It's underwhelming.

The story leaves a lot to be desired. There are some sections of the game where you're just reading nonstop text instead of seeing a cutscene it comes off as very lazy. Gameplay wise it's slower than NIer Automata which might be a downer for some. The animation it's strange the developers didn't even bother making the characters mouth open when they talk only for certain cutscenes. I wouldn't recommend to a friend unless they're a die hard Nier fan.
