We absolutely love this lens. While it is a little heavy, the lack of having to change lenses more than makes up for it.

Wife wanted a telephoto lens for her Nikon camera. Loves the performance and I loved how it didn’t break the bank.

Great lens! Put it on my d7200. I love that I’m not having to switch lenses out while I’m out on a nature walk or while I’m on the beach.

It does everything I hoped for and more. The only thing I need to keep in mind is that it's not as great at close ups as my standard lens, but it does capture incredible detail at a distance. Very happy with this purchase.

I purchased this lens as I needed something new and a good walk around lens. Giving it 4 stars only because it’s not the quality of photo that I really wanted, but I also rent a lot of high end lenses.

Got this lens because I was wasting time and missing shots while switching back and forth with the two lenses that came with my D5300.

Absolutely love not having to switch lenses. Photos are clear and sharp. I had a landscape blown up to 16x20 and it is breathtaking.

I bought this lens, I was just starting to get into car photography. The resolution is beautiful.

I would like to compare my recent purchases of 18-300mm AF-S VR lens with 55-300mm AF-S VRII lens. The former is lighter in weight, but lighter in sharpness of image as well. You need tripod to take a very steady clear pics as it won't go well when handled with hand. The color of the image is visually appealing with natural lights, but dramatically dull with indoors & dim. On the other hand 55-300mm lens gave me sharp & intense colored images almost all the time.

I really like this lens so far. Great depth and the pictures are very good. I will know more after my next trip.

Good lens for the price got some good shots but sometimes are out of focus but overall not bad

Goes good with my D500. If you can only use one lens use this one, but just get it withe th F5.6

Haven't had the opportunity to try this lens yet. The switching between the 2 it replaced was not overly time consuming but inconvenient. Also the space savings of 1 lens compared to 2
