    I've used the lens in both indoor and outdoor shots. It really comes in handy indoors, when you need a lower aperture for increased brightness.

    The quality of the cheaper nikkor lenses is very immpressive. And everyone should own a 35mm lebse able to get great shots with this lens.

    If you shoot with a Nikon DX camera this is almost a required lens to have in your bag. Good auto focus and good in low light conditions.
