Good lens for a beginner. Easy to use and takes great pictures

This is an amazing lens that will give you an amazing Background focus effect. It all depends on which camera you have, the more advanced the better in low light.

I bought this lens as the first supplement to the two that came in the package for my D5000. I use it mostly for macro photography, with macro filters attached, great results. I also use it a lot for composed landscape shots. It's fully compatible with the D5000 line of Nikon cameras and performs flawlessly.

Great width with little distortion. Works very nicely indoors without the need for a flash. Still need to get use to how autofocus works with this lens - it doesn't always pick out what I want. I'm sure the issue is with my photo skills rather than the lens though! Great overall.

Purchased this auto focus wide angle lens for my daughter's camera. Her original camera package came with a 55mm lens and a 70 x 300 zoom, so this 35mm lens filled a need in her camera arsenal. She has used it many times and loves the lens and ease of use.
