This lens is my daily use! Best for beginning portraits shots to get that shallow depth of field. I make sure I bring this lens with me to every shoot! Best investment I’ve done.

Purchased this for my wife who does portrait style photography and brand photography. She loves the blurring of the background and this works great with her Nikon's autofocus

I love this lens! As a beginner in photography, this is a great value for a High Aperture lens. It's got a pretty quick Autofocus, havn't seen any issues with soft edges. For the price, you can't go wrong!

This lens is awesome! Nice bokeh and sharp images. Recommended 100%. Sometimes it is difficult to focus in low light and a little slow but good lens for the price.

i have been using it to take pictures of people cars and flowers great images. make sure that when you buy you know for sure you want the 35 mm because there is no zoom good look and go capture a moment.

I've owned this lens before on another camera and it was awesome. Bought it again when I got another Nikon and it never fails to impress. Excellent quality optics for the price.

This lens is excellent for portraits both for large groups and close-ups of individuals. The ratio of field-of-view to image size makes this a go to lens.

im new to using a dslr camera. but i did find this lens great to use for the price. took a few mins to learn how to adjust the manual focus. but now cant wait to use it

Lens does exactly what I wanted it to do. I needed something I could take crisp photos in low light levels without using flash, this is perfect! I will always keep a prime lens in my kit!

It works great. It takes the most wonderful pictures. There is no zoom in or zoom out but that doesn't really matter to me. Most of the pictures I take are in the 35mm range.
