Have no idea what I have been been missing and why I waited so long to buy this lens. Should be a mandatory item for any aspiring amateur photographer.

This is a fantastic prime lens for $200. This stays on my camera 90% of the time. If you are wanting another lens besides the kit lenses this is the ONE!

This lens was purchased for use on anion D7100 when used on a DX camera makes the lens a 50 mm focal length.ideal for everyday photography.

This is a great choice for a first prime lens to add to a lens kit. It stops down to 1.8 fstop allowing for a shallow depth of field.

This lens is great at first i was thinking the kit lens has the same focal lengh and i should not buy it but after purchasing it , it blows the kit lens out the water...

A bit tight to fit on my dx3300, it took a little time to hook it up. Took a photo for test and it looked great. I have not used it much yet.

Love my 50mm 1.8 but wanted something i could use closer for baby portraits with a similar amount of bokeh.
