    Certainly is good in low light. But I am thinking the 50mm 1.8 would have been a better choice for me. Be sure to compare in detail before making your choice.

    I have several lenses, but wanted to try the 35mm DX for my D5100 camera and is great combination. For a DX Camera user this lens is great. All my other lenses are for FX cameras, but really wanted to try out this one. I have been taking many photos and yes you have to walk closer or move back a little, but when you are traveling then this is the lens you want to take with you.
