    This is an excellent prime lens due to its low cost and size and weight. I would prefer a 24mm lens but not ready to spend three times the cost of this lens.

    It worked well for photos but not anything EXTREMELY CLOSE.... I couldn't get detailed photos from a few inches away, but thats probably because I am new to cameras. :/
