Great for kids, 3DSXL a better system overall

Great handheld gaming system

Great games, you can play all 3DS games including the entire DS back catalog. Battery life is decent. You do need to make an extra purchase for a case to protect it. I recommend this for kids and by the way you don't really miss the fact that it doesn't display 3D graphics.

This device gave them the option for an upgrade to the modern DS platform without the worry and expense of breaking the case.

Good for those who want new 3DS games without 3D
