Got this for my daughter and she loves it. Even my younger son is able to play and have fun.

With all the newer game systems out right now this is so PERFECT for my child that is only 8.

I bought this because it was inexpensive for a console and I wanted to play all the pokemon and zelda games I had heard about for many years. Unfortunately I should have just paid the extra money for the new 3ds xl. The 2ds is a good option if you have young kids who are prone to breaking things. It is not however, a good option if you are a grown adult who is serious about games. Why? 1. Overall build is highly uncomfortable for someone with bigger hands. The shape is almost literally that of a door stop wedge. 2. The analog stick is terrible...while playing majoras mask I could barely control link with any accuracy. The sticks movement is very stiff to the point where your thumb begins to tire out after playing for extended periods. 3. The new 3ds doesn't have either of these problems AND has the functionality of playing games in 3d. Not to mention the clamshell design is far friendlier to my pockets than this "door stop" design. As a more serious gamer precise controls is more important to me, as is the comfort level for playing over extended periods. The 2ds just wasn't for me. I returned this item and have since opted for a sweet looking black new 3ds...and I am far FAR happier with it. Don't get me wrong, the 2ds works fine and all for people who are less picky...its just not for me.

My granddaughter loves it! She is only 4 and it is very easy for her to understand.

This is a great game console for kids! My son absolutely loved it
