Bought this item for my 2yo. Easy for him to handle. Great for beginners.

Love this for my kids. Thought about ds3 but these are cheaper, play the same games as the 3, more kid friendly for my kids ages 4-6.

My child has always had the dc that flips and always breaks. With this one it hasn't broken bc it doesn't flip. My child would always drop it causing the seam where it folded to break.

When you don't need 3D and don't mind the smaller screen, this is a great way to save over $100 to get playing Nintendo 3DS games.

Absolutely the best for your hard earned money. This is the same as the 3ds except for the 3d itself on the screen. 10+ in value

I really only bought this because I wanted to play the 3DS Pokemon and Fire Emblem games. The price for this was low enough to justify buying a console for two franchises. Mario Kart was an awesome bonus too.

I bought this for my 3yr old son so he doesn’t have to play with my other son’s 3ds. He likes the fact he can operate it on his own with a little help. It comes with a charger and Mario cart preloaded. Oh let me not forget it comes with an sd card as well. The 3ds games can be played in the 2ds. It’s a little big in size but I am ok with that. If I had bought the 3ds or 2ds that flips open It would have been broken by now. It was priced at 79.99, with my discounts I paid around 50 for it.

I bought this for my 15 year old son, as there are a few specific games he wanted to play. He enjoys it and the quality is superb. Great for playing the old as well as the new games.

Battery life is great . Keeps kids occupied on long trips and is a good value for the price. Also comes with Mario Kart for free .

I don't really play any games that need the 3D so it is really nice to be able to play my games and save $120.00 compared to the 3ds

Bought this for Christmas for my 5 year old son. He hasn't stopped playing this since the moment he got it. It is easy enough to play but challenging enough to keep him engaged. This is for sure a great value for the price.

Kids love the DS. I thought it would be sturdy since it was created without hinges that older models have. But if dropped the battery cover pops partway off. Also had volume lever break and another DS just quit working. Definitely recommend getting extended warranty. Additionally there are still no protective cases available that the DS can remain in and be played

I pulled this out of the box to set it up for him before Christmas and found myself playing this thing for hours. I forgot who it was for him and to put it back in the box! He gone have fun with this game.

Yes it is, if you don't want to play games in 3D or if you have a very young child. Great price and can play all your 3DS games.

My son loves this portable console. No more fighting with her sister over portable console. The console is pre-loaded with Mario Kart 7, which he loves to play. I also play with this console. The games are incredible.

My kid had an accident with his last 3ds game, we didn’t have the money to buy the same game, so we opt to buy this one, and he loves it, he misses some of stuff his previous game did, but not that much.
