My daughter wanted this game system and loves it. She has an old DS system but wanted this one since she would be able to play online.

I like the games that are available for this handheld game. And that there's different versions of game for ages. Great game all around

I purchased this 2 DS as a Christmas gift for my 13yo son. I didn't think it aesthetically pleasing but his DSi XL was not repairable. The main reason I purchased was the bonus Mario Kart 7. He enjoys it and im pleased with my purchase.

Although I spent almost 2 hours in the store, the man that helped me provided the BEST customer service. The 2DS works great as well

Easy to use, great for little hands, uses both ds and 3ds games my son loves his!!

I love this! My kids had the first 3DS that Nintendo came out with and there were so many problems. I bought this one for my son, who has autism. He never played with the 3D option on the 3DS so it was pointless to get him another one like that. Also, the 3DS broke. It had so many issues. This is simple and he loves the sleep option. It lets him keep playing his game without saving or losing his place.

Kids love to use the DS on road trips and it seems to last for the majority of the time. Battery life is sufficient and the ability to play games from all platforms is great.

My son had been using his Game Boy and his sister's DSi for many years. There were some new games he wanted that wouldn't work in either of those devices. The 2ds was the most affordable replacement option and it fit the bill for performance and price. It's made of plastic and looks more like a simple toy than a serious gaming device. But it operates flawlessly and my son has had no complaints. :)

This was a great alternative for the 3DS for my 4 year old. Her older siblings have 3DSs but we were worried about the hinges on the 3DS with how a 4 year old would handle the device. Since the 2DS plays all the same games, and doesn't have a hinge AND it's substantially cheaper, it was a great buy. Wish we would have saved the money on the 2 3DSs we already had and purchased 2DSs instead.

I purchased the NINTENDO 2DS for my daughter. She has been busy learning about it and having fun. She is especially happy we joined the game club so she can get games at a discount----so wish you had more of a selection.

I really like how the design of the 2ds is more suitable for children more than anything. I was happy that I was able to find one in my local best buy and I really like the fact that it had a game to play right from the start.

Purchased this as a replacement for a broken 3DS. I do prefer the 3D display for some games, but the 2ds does everything else just as well. If the cartridge loader breaks again, though, I'll never buy another Nintendo handheld.

My son lost his old DS and wanted a new one. He uses it every day and loves it.

I was trying to find something like an old game boy for my kids. This fits the bill perfectly. It's basic, but has some cool features. I like that you can download games, old and new, and it comes with an SD card for storage. Seems like a great value considering it comes with Mario kart preloaded.

I was thinking twice about purchasing the handheld device but I must say best handheld I have bought. What I love about it is that you can play the 3DS games.

I got this for a friend of mine who doesn't really play video games. She's 25 and has only played computer puzzle games like Nancy Drew and zoombinis, but she really seems to enjoy the 2DS. I got a $50 Nintendo credit with it and she downloaded the old pokemon Red version and some other games and seems pretty happy with it. A great first game system.
