I got this as a gift for a 5 year old and was nervous about the buttons being out of reach but it’s perfect for those small hands!

For the price, this is amazing if you do not care about the 3d feature

No need for 3D because it gives me a headache. The wife and I are expecting, so we are spending a lot of time in waiting rooms. This helps a lot.

She had a DS, but her brother got the 3DS XL upgrade. This is a nice middle ground that worked out great!

Although this item does not have the 3D like the other devices of its kind, it is well worth it. I myself think that the 3D is pointless. And this console is $100 less than the 3DS. Fits nicely in my hand, although I would love if it closed shut instead of just a flat console. But I love it anyways.

My daughter love this! My son has a 3ds xl and his little sister needed one, this fits her just perfect.

We bought this item as a gift and my son has hardly put it down since. Item comes with a charger unlike some of the other versions so that's one less accessory to purchase. You can also use earbuds (not included) so the DS can be played in a vehicle and not get on the nerves of everyone else. Price point was good too so it was a successful purchase.

For the price and the free game, this is a great DS entry option.

I bought this gameboy to replace one that my 5yr old broke. She threw the game oh across the room and cracked the screen. A fix cost $40 for the part plus a fairly complicated process to replace. So missy gets a new blue one. If you like Nintendo game oh action, then you will like the gameboy. I'm. It a gamer and there are plenty of reviews regarding the gaming action. Perhaps it could be more durable, but I can't blame Nintendo because like I said, she was playing a game which she thought she needed to physically throw the gameboy.

I got this for my little boy and he loves it. It keeps him busy for hours but I have to get it away from him when its time to eat or bed time.

This console was bought for my chil and well it made a great gift. Easy to carry anywhere and loved the fact it came with the game included.

This is great for kids and adults. You can download old games on to this device along with new titles.

Great price for same function as 3DS. Bought a game card for 3DS and works perfectly in this model.

The 2DS is just the sequel to the DS in my opinion. If you love the DS then you'll love the 2DS. I didn't feel the need for 3D and the price for the 2DS is great. Would be a steal if 60 bucks. I have somewhat small hands and the 2DS fits comfortably in my hands. Pressing the buttons feel satisfying and nice. Great software, great library of games.

I love the DS it easy to manage, I'm a working mother with 3 kids so it easy to give them the system while I'm in the go with the children

my grandson was thrilled to receive this hand held game system. It had Mario Kart already installed, which he loves. I bought a pokemon game to play on it as well. my grandson is going to be 13 years old and has played on another one at a friend's house. He was absolutely thrilled to have his own, and found it easy to navigate.

Bought for a Christmas present for my 7 year old. Only complaint is that the game "included" actually had to be downloaded from Internet. Could be a problem for someone without Internet access.
