If your looking to get into playing 3DS games the 2DS is the way to go. For $80 not only can you play 3DS games and not have to worry about a broken hinge, but do you get a digital copy of mario kart! I would definitely recommend this product.

The 2DS is a great device for those who don't want to pay for a 3DS when they won't use the 3D - keep in mind two major things, though. One, you have to slide a switch to put it in sleep mode when you're not using it - otherwise, the battery drains VERY fast. Two, some 3DS games designed for the newest 3DS won't work with the 2DS. If this is okay, though, this device is a bargain!

Amazing product for the price. This is like the updated gameboy of the current generation. The expandable SD card slot is present and appreciated. All the classics can be downloaded and they are coming out with all the new games constantly!

When my son's previous 2DS was damaged he insisted on getting another because of the number of games he can get. There's always something more games to explore. Plus the price is great leaving plenty of money for the games themselves.

While I do think a 3ds is arguably the better purchase, a 2ds is perfect as a gift for a young child, or anyone who's on a budget but still wants to play any 3ds game. If you don't really care about 3D, this is prefect for the price.

The Nintendo 2DS is the cheapest way to play Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DS games. It is built very well with a high quality and is very durable. If you don't want to play Nintendo 3DS games in 3D than this is the perfect choice for you.

I bought this for myself. I was listening to my students talk about theirs and thinking about all the fun I had with my game boy when I was younger. I love it. Even better that I could download some of the older games.

I love that the 3DS line is still kicking after all this time. This is obviously an entry level product so it’s not as great as some of the other 3DS or 2DS options, but it gets the job done and it is good for kids.

This one is too big and bulky. It sits weird when I play it. I much rather play 3ds because it's more compact
