Great allows you to play 3d games on the 2d system.

Wanted to buy brother an intro to handheld gaming. Fun, easy to learn, and he enjoys it. Not sure if they still sell these in stores with the newer version, but it's still worth grabbing.

I purchased the 2DS from Best Buy. I was considering getting the 3DS but honestly it made me a little lightheaded from the graphics. I found the 2DS to be a much better fit for my needs! I can play it for hours on end. The ONLY not great thing about it is the battery... but the cord is long so I can leave it plugged in and still be comfortable playing it.

I bought this for a friend of mine to help with her anxiety. The price was a major factor. For someone who doesn't need the 3D effect, but still wants to play 3DS games, this is an excellent choice!

this is perfect if you want to play ds games but don't want a used 3ds or pay 200 for a new one. The 70 dollar price tag is perfect for what you get.

Purchased this so I could have Pokemon Sun & Moon Battles with my son. Screen is a little small compared to his XL, but it does the trick. Awesome gaming system with a great library fun of games.

Bought a 2DS to play a copy of Pokémon I had sitting in a dead Nintendo DS. Generally this little console feels cheap, but it plays the games just fine, and performs as well as any Nintendo handheld I can think of. If you don't want or need the 3D aspect of the current hardware generation, it's not a bad choice.

This is great for my 6 year old he gets to play with the big kids but I don't have to worry about the hinge of the 3DS and the 3DSXL is to big for his hand.

Bought it for my step daughter so she'd quit dropping my 3ds. It works well and she enjoys playing on it.

The 2DS was a lower-priced, low risk way for me to re-enter handheld gaming for the first time since the GameBoy Color line. It's an enjoyable handheld that does away with the gimmick of 3D.

My son won't let it go unless it's has to be charge

Bought the nintendo 2ds for my husband and he loves it. He likes the graphics and the portability of it. He also likes that its not to small for his hands.

Bought this for my son for Christmas and he LOVES it! I love that you can play regular DS games as well as the 2 and 3DS games. Love that you can do this all on one system. LOVE it!

Great for young kids as well as older kids. I have a 5 year old and a 10 year old and they both play it. It is great that it works with games they already had from previous Nintendo systems.
