Bought it for my child and he loves it!! He does not even want to oaky with the 3ds anymore bc he says it gives him a headaches and only plays on this one.

Bought for my 7 year old. Easy to use, graphics are good enough. Used primary for games. We'll see how he cares for it before getting a switch.

Got this as a gift from my boyfriend. I was using one of the original DS's and this one is so much better. Clear graphics and easy to handle.

Bought this as a gift for two young family members of mine. Both of them enjoyed playing with it. Was cheaper for me to purchase two of these Nintendo 2ds than two of the New Nintendo 3ds. Will last long in their hands compared to owning the NN3ds. Hinges won't be a problem because there aren't any. Feels very comfortable in the hands. Sleep button is very useful for the kids when they are called away for something by parents or whatever. It may be cheaper than the NN3ds but the device it self does provide great visuals. May not have 3D effcts but great nonetheless.

He plays it all the time. This is actually his 3rd one.

Got this for my 6 year nephew as his first gaming device and he loves it . Its more fun for him as its portable and easy for those small hands.

Great starter system for my daughter. She is 8. She loves it. Easy to use and lots of fun. Love that it came with Mario kart already installed.

I purchased this to be able to play games with my 6 year old son on his DS. Great decision, we play all the time and he still beats me..

The Nintendo 2DS is the same as the 3DS and has all the same features except for the folding 3D screen. The grandkids really don't like the 3D screen anyway. It plays all the 3DS games in 2D and it also plays the older DS games. Lots of games and accessories available. Uses the Amiibos if you get the extra reader. We have two 2DS units. One for each grandkid. A red one and a blue one. They can play two player games together on the wireless connection.

When I first got this new N2DS, I did not expected that it will come up with the charger as most of new N3DS you have to buy them separetely, this was a relief, also the playability on this console is quite comfortable, the grip and the handling of the controls are very reachable, and it feels good to hold it, it does not wear you out to paly with it for a long period of time, and the backwards compatibility is great, also the new 3DS games are able to be played without a problem. So far, I would highly recommed it, and the prive-value for it is GREAT!!!

The video game is very very good purchase. My Son love it. He has a lot of fun, enjoy the games and is very easy to carry on. Excellent product||

I have purchased 5 of these for myself and grand kids. The 2DS obviously doesn't play in 3D but for us that's no problem. One grandson gets a headache from the 3D consoles anyway. The 3DS games play with no problem on the 2DS plus you can play all the older DS games. The units are a bit slippery from the hard plastic so I would recommend going online and ordering one of the silicone skin covers. It will give some protection and lets you keep a good grip on the console. My grandsons dropped their consoles a few times because they slipped out of their hands. The silicone skin covers really help. Nintendo has several other handheld consoles but for the money, the basic 2DS console is just fine. I've heard it called the "doorstop" because of it's shape. The others are "clamshell" because they close up but they cost more.

This is a great gift idea and I highly recommend BC Mario Kart is already loaded on! Well worth the money! Plus it's compatible w/ 3DS games as well.

I purchased this for my daughter who is 8 years old. She loves it and it is more than half the price of 3DS. It works well with all games in a 2D mode.
