We were looking for a gift for my daughter, well she loves it. The things I don't like is the fact it is limited to games. Doesn't have challenge mode like the other DS.

My granddaughter loves her new Nintendo and the games purchased with it. It's a great starter game console that I'm sure she will enjoy for years to come.

I hated the 3ds because I never got the 3d effect & when I did it would give me a headache This is old school enough where it's enjoyable. Absolutely love it.

It's definitely a step up from the DSi, which is what my kids had prior to this unit. The only reason for the 4 stars is because my kids complain that the battery life isn't great. Otherwise it has been great, it's cool that it will play all of the 3ds games too.

Bought for my nephew because I figured he would break the hinged part on a 3ds. The system is very well built and should handle the abuse that kids give stuff.

This system is awesome and the price just dropped. Buy it and relive the Mario greatness and play new titles too. I bought 4 of these 3 for my kids and one for me !!

For 80 bucks, it's a pretty good alternative to the 3DS. It is less comfortable and less portable than the 3DS, but that makes sense due to the lower cost.

This is a great handheld for all ages. I thought I wound not like the design originally, but it actually makes me feel nostalgic to the days of the game boy.

This is a great alternative for the nes classic. You can download classic nes games through the Nintendo eshop. Plus it comes preloaded with Mario kart 7.

This is a Nintendo product that allows you to play Nintendo games. Third party games are generally available elsewhere, but this is the only place to play Mario, Zelda, etc. Great build. Shoulder buttons take a while to get used to, but eventually become natural.

Bought for 7 year old daughter and she loves it. Good that it comes with a game preloaded. Can play wirelessly with her brother who also has one

Bought two, not one of theses for my grand- nephews for their birthday. Have barely left their hands since receiving them!

The 2ds is my first "ds" gameboy i've had. it's price point is great and really just got it to play pokemon. got dragon quest 8 as well. I plan on playing simple RPGS that don't need the c-stick to feel playable. Easy to hold for long periods of time.
