Bought for my nephew because I figured he would break the hinged part on a 3ds. The system is very well built and should handle the abuse that kids give stuff.

For 80 bucks, it's a pretty good alternative to the 3DS. It is less comfortable and less portable than the 3DS, but that makes sense due to the lower cost.

This system is awesome and the price just dropped. Buy it and relive the Mario greatness and play new titles too. I bought 4 of these 3 for my kids and one for me !!

This is a great handheld for all ages. I thought I wound not like the design originally, but it actually makes me feel nostalgic to the days of the game boy.

It's definitely a step up from the DSi, which is what my kids had prior to this unit. The only reason for the 4 stars is because my kids complain that the battery life isn't great. Otherwise it has been great, it's cool that it will play all of the 3ds games too.

I bought this for my daughter's boyfriend because his old one got stolen. He's very happy with it since now he also has some new games to play on it.

The boys got them for Christmas and they were a hit, We could have got away with just this. I also find myself playing and looking for games for me.

Great gift I bought for my nephew. This is a great buy and easy to setup. The Mario kart works very well and your kid will definitely be pleased.

Bought for 7 year old daughter and she loves it. Good that it comes with a game preloaded. Can play wirelessly with her brother who also has one

My kids love this product. My two boys were always fighting for it and I recently had to buy another one to keep them from fighting for it.

This is a great alternative for the nes classic. You can download classic nes games through the Nintendo eshop. Plus it comes preloaded with Mario kart 7.

Bought two, not one of theses for my grand- nephews for their birthday. Have barely left their hands since receiving them!

Bought this for my son. It's perfect size for him at the right price. We are a Nintendo family, so this was a no brainer.

This was a Christmas present for my daughter. We do digital games. She loves it. Easily uses standard size SD cards. Can use microSD with an adapter.

Great system pretty well made plastic can't wait to pick up the new 2DS XL though but over all great system and design reminds me of old school :)

Bought specifically for the old Pokemon Games and it works like a dream. I love the fact that i can bring back my childhood and pass it on to my children.

My son had been asking this to buy... And now shes so happy with it. The product seems durable unlike those old generation that easily broke hinges.

Great for kids to play with minimal risk of breaking. Very durable. Lots of great updates from nintendo and fun to play.

This is a Nintendo product that allows you to play Nintendo games. Third party games are generally available elsewhere, but this is the only place to play Mario, Zelda, etc. Great build. Shoulder buttons take a while to get used to, but eventually become natural.
