Purchased as a birthday gift for my nephew and he loved it!

Since the release of Pokemon Go, I have been itching to play a Pokemon Console game again. I purchased a 2DS for the sole purpose of playing Pokemon Games. If you are interested in only a few 3DS titles and do not care about 3D, I highly recommend the 2DS.

As someone who has been interested in getting back into handheld games (last handheld was a Game Boy Color) the low entry price of the 2DS makes it easy to get back into. I don't need the 3D features, and the 2DS is much more affordable.

thought about getting the 3ds xl but decided on this one since its cheaper and basically does the same thing. Will be adult kept and used works for me. Very fun and has alot of fun games

Always had a lot of people telling me to buy this but always told myself not too, finally bought it and actually dont regret it. Great little system to carry with you and play.

After having this 2DS for several years now I could say this is one of the best and cheapest handheld Nintendo has made.

I wanted to play some of the newer Pokémon games without spending a fortune on a New 3DS ($199.99 currently). For $80, the 2DS does the job with no issue.

I own both a 2ds and a New 3ds XL, I will say that I prefer to play my 2ds over my 3ds. This is because I have big hands and the 2ds is pretty comfortable and easy to hold for me. It feels sturdy and since it isnt as heavy, it doesn't feel flimsy right out of the box like the 3ds did. I was so paranoid I tried using my friends 3ds and his felt the same way so I knew it was the console itself. What I do NOT like about the 2ds is that the buttons are not soft like the 3ds are. This means after short periods of time my thumbs start to hurt from holding the buttons (when playing mario kart which comes with the console.) I feel like the 2ds is good for its price- no great for its price. But before you buy you should be aware of both it's strengths and flaws.

Since they lowered the price of these, it's really a steal. Great to pass the time and play old games I played as a kid. Like Zelda.

Purchased this game console instead of the higher priced 3D unit. Overall very happy it plays the newer 3D games in 2d mode.

The game system is well designed for a little set of hands but I do wish the screen was bigger. Almost makes the argument against the kids watching 3D harder to uphold. Lots of good games to play.

This is a good handheld system for younger children to get started if you don't have the $200 for the 3DS XL. There are a lot of quality DS games that can be played on the system as well.

Great portable system. Mario Kart 7 is a fun racing game. Even better to play with friends over WiFi.

Honestly the worst gaming experience I've ever had. This console is complete junk. I barely applied pressure to the screen, and plasma has started to seep through the inner screen. Biggest waste of $130. Don't waste your time on ninetendo's failed attempt at a console. The cheaper price definetly represents a cheaper console. It is not durable at all. I wish you luck if you decide to purchase this and expect it to last.

Good price but nothing special. Hard to carry around because it doesn't fold in half.
