I purchased for my grand child for Christmas. I have one and they love it. I would recommend for all, any age. I love it!

Works amazing. If you don't need the 3D, this product is for you. Very durable and built to last.

I just bought it for Mario Kart! Imagine my surprise when I find out it palys 3DS games too! So WOW!

This was my son's request for Christmas. We loved that it came with Mario Kart preloaded, so he had something to play Christmas morning.

This item was a Christmas present and all were happy when the box was unwrapped Christmas morning. Now all four kids can play with each other across platforms (two got 3DS consoles, two got 2DS consoles), and the included code was a plus. The price made Santa Mom and Santa Dad happy, too.

My grandson is so happy with this and so is his mother. no hinges to break. Con: it does not play all Nintendo ds games.

Bought this instead of 3D model due to reported health concerns. My son loves his DS! IMHO, I think the two individual screens are a waste and could have just been one large screen.

Nice little affordable handheld system, great for traveling obviously. My only issue is the size of the device, which causes some pretty severe hand cramps after an hour or so. I have medium-large sized hands for an adult male, and let's be honest. This was made for kids. I don't know how the 3DS XL would compare, since I've never held one. But hey, the games are good and the battery lasts substantially longer than I can play.

Not as flashy as the new 3ds but it's sturdy enough. As an owner of a new 3ds, I still quite liked the look and feel of the 2ds.

My little one AND my husband LOVE this thing! We had decided upon this after speaking with a friend who recommended as the best he had found. It seems to be the perfect size, and nice battery life as well. I highly recommend this as a great handheld system for kids, over some of the more spendy mini devices!

A strong a durable hand held gaming system for younger children. Not having the fold up I was worried that my kids might scratch the screen. The screen is actually very scratch resistant. I highly recommend this for younger children who are prone to dropping toys. The chargeable battery life is great also.

Picked this up for my girlfriend as she got into mine and never could get mine back. Having mario kart included was great and we've been playing head to head games all the time.

A very solid system. The price point allows a well constructed system without the unnecessary 3d. Graphically speaking the 2ds and 3ds lines don't meet that of smartphones but Nintendo's unique line of games makes it all the worthwhile. I recommend the system for what it offers especially if you want JRPG's and platformers.

I bought two for both of my oldest grandkids. They loved it. Best christmas present ever

My daughter likes that it plays her sister's 3ds games. The screen is ok, but doesn't like that it doesn't fold like other ds systems. Overall ok, but should had bought 3DS.

This 2ds is made an awesome gift for our son. We didn't want a 3ds because we read that the 3D option is not suitable for children under 10. He loves playing his ds and doesn't bother his sister for hers anymore. The best part for us was the price.

Got this one for her, and the blue one for me. We have couples game night together.
