The new update to the 3ds is great and gotta love the bigger screen size.

My daughter loves her new DS. I can't really say anything bad about it cuz I don;t play with it. I do know that its hard to find her toys she likes and she likes this.

I waited for a 3DS XL with a different color like the all silver in the UK and Japan to be shipped to North America and I'm glad I waited. Because I wasn't too excited for this, so I picked up this handheld with "cool" in mind. There really not much different except its all black. If you have a 3DS XL already just pass on this one but for an upgrade from the 3DS, its a great buy.

At first I thought the pixels would be stretched due to the screen bigger size, but fortunately this was not the case. A must have upgrade/handheld.

Item is in my sons favorite color. He can play all his old des games and the size of the screens makes things easy to see.

I bought mine so I could play games I used to play on older home consoles that I no longer own. I love how it is wireless and you can purchase and download games anywhere (as long as you have a decent sized SD card and internet access). The picture quality is great and there are a decent number of good games. Though I do wish the battery would last a bit longer without having to plug the device back in to recharge, but you can still use it while it is charging.

Games are easy to play and understand easy to download. Lightweight easy store and hide lights are not to bright

My daughter loves it, takes it everywhere. It helps when she has to be at one of her sisters activities.

Love the touchpad and large screen. I don't go anywhere without it.

I've owned handhold gaming systems since the original Game Boy with the non back-lit black and white screen. How times have changed! I absolutely love this system. Screens are beautiful, system is fast with lots of features. The 3D works very well on the games designed to use it (Super Mario 3D land is a great example) Buy it!

I have had a lot of fun with the 3ds. Much better gaming experiences than you can do on on ipad or iphone.

a larger screen DS gives you more visibility to bring the game playing feeling to the next level, but 3D function still needs a lot of improvement

This new model is better better but less portable and feels heavy, for the quality it is.

I would highly recommend this to people who love Nintendo games and a variety of excellent games. I am up to 20 games, so far, and I love everyone of them. If you are looking for something to buy for your kids or for that Nintendo fan in your family, then this is the gift!
