Very entertaining product, the 3D cabpability adds a new fun twist to the game boy/hand held gaming experience. Makes a wonderful gift for all ages. The larger XL version allows for more comfortable handling.

Bought the Nintendo - 3DS XL for my grandson only to find out that the adults play with it as much as he does. Great graphics and easy to bring along on for long car rides or to places where you wait for long periods of time such as the doctor's office or shopping excursions.

Easily the best handheld on the market right now. It has the best variety of quality games and most reasonably priced. The graphics are great the 3D is sweet. Battery life gets eaten up though with the brightness up and 3D on. It still lasts a good while even with that though.

I bought this as an upgrade from my DS Lite, and I love it! Most of the features are pretty cool such as the larger screen, 3D, the store, wi-fi, and not to mention the games. The screen size is a welcome addition. I definitely recommend this for any gamer on the go.

I bought it for my younger brother. He loves it, likes the big screen, loves the games. Heck, I love the games. Pretty sweet that we can play the same game with only one game cartridge. The 3D is kind of pointless. He never uses it, I never use it when I play. It's cool, I guess, but you'll most likely turn it off. I bought a 2DS myself and find THAT to be a better value since I feel that nobody uses the 3D. I found the 2DS for $100, so it was way smarter to get that. 3DS is just bigger and with 3D. But my brother, being a kid, wanted the "3DS" lol. Just buy it for your kid, he'll love it.

Bought this for my younger brother (age 15) as an early Christmas gift. Absolutely loves it! 3D technology is still not perfected in my opinion but it's a cool and creative feature. Has multiple great games unlike the Playstation Vita, and the battery life is great!

I recommend the 3ds xl over the regular 3ds. It is much better than the regular 3ds.

This will play your 3ds games, however the hinge does not feel sturdy. It feels like a drop would snap it. The 3d on this model is ok but can be annoying because you have to be at just the right angle to see it. I honestly would recommend paying the extra $25 for the new 3ds. The face tracking for the 3d on the new 3ds works really well, not to mention the added horsepower under the hood. Luckily I was able to pick this one up on a four hour sale for $150 so the value was too good to pass up but at the regular price I would just pay the extra $25 for the new 3ds.
