I thought 3-d would make him dizzy. No problems, and you can turn off the 3-d. So many fun features. Hours of entertainment, and I have lots of options for games to give him for Christmas!

Bought this when prices were at 169.99 and bundled with a free game. Best investment I have made in a long time. Playing games is amazing but downloading games makes this much easier when you don't need to remember to bring other games along.

I can't really use the 3D part of it because it messes with my eyes, but i knew that before i bought it. I just wanted to play the new games and don't really like the 2DS. Has a good battery life, I've only had to charge it a few times.

Not only does the 3DS play regular DS games but it comes with a few simple movies. Since I got this game for my teenage son it was remarkable to me how vivid the 3D effect was. I enjoyed watching the silly little movies that were available for it.

I was excited to see it on sale and we got the Scribblenauts game for free. I would have never bought the game but my son loves it! I love tht you can turn 3D mode off and on. 3DS XL is worth the few extra dollars for the bigger screen size.

I got a 3ds when it first came out and my biggest complaint was that it never really fit my hands that well being an adult. The 3dsxl is perfect if you have larger hands like I do

The 3DS XL is a decent handheld console foran yone looking to immerse themselves into gaming culture. Though it has a short battery life, the XL surpasses its smaller predecessor by far.

Really like this system Comes in handy compared to regular DS so I don't have to have the system right in my face to see small details Cool to be able to set parental features and even download some games too (needs bigger memory card though

It's so much fun. The battery life is pretty good, and there's a lot you can do on it. Take pictures, get on the internet. It's really cool. The 3D does give me a bit of a headache at times, but that's easy enough to turn off or down.
