Great system with extensive game library
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having never owned a Nintendo handheld since Gameboy Advance, I decided to get a 3DS after seeing the extensive library/backlog for the system. The 3DS is great with a few faults: * - Battery life is mediocre, getting about ~4 hours playtime. * - Included SD card is only 4GB; you will need to buy a bigger one. * - No included AC adapter which is beyond explainable. With a bigger SD card and charger, you'll be having a blast playing all the games since launch.

Great fun for my son

We use it as a motivator for him to get get reports and grade in school! Each week he dose well in school he gets the game boy over the week end.. Works great!!!

An awesome gift for a little one!

I was certainly impressed by the quality and the massive screen! Netflix? WiFi? Hulu? What kid wouldn't love this device! It has access to all the latest games by Nintendo but not to mention all the older games that the Nintendo Store has to offer!

If no one of those apply to you and you are happy with your current 3DS, then there is no need to spend the extra money to upgrade.

No benefit in upgrading
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am not impressed with this game console as the only real reason to upgrade is to use the "Amibos" that you can't seem to get, and I would have rather have saved the money to get one of the old school Nintendo Controller 3DS that came with a charger instead of wasting 210.00+ 20.00 for a charger....who sells a charge based system without a charger? WASTE OF MONEY SAVE MONEY AND GET THE 179.00 VERSION. IT HAS A CHARGER!!!!
