Bought this for my nephew for Christmas and he absolutely loves it! Great fun. Great product.

My son finally wore out his first gen 3ds, so I bought him this one instead of fixing his for the fourth time. He loves the bigger screen. It was a good upgrade for him. Wish they would include a power supply. Nit everyone is lucky enough to have one already.

Bought for a ten year old, great product, there are no complaints here. pure fun.

I love everything about it, (not really a difference from the older version) but I don't like glossy front. Sweaty hands plus glossy material = thumbs down for that part. Overall, still a great DS.

I mostly got this for my 10 year brother and what can I say, he's in love with this product.

It's a better 3DS, simply put. It has extra buttons and a C-stick, built-in support for Amiibos, improved 3D, and a bit of extra horsepower. My understanding is that the C-stick and additional buttons provide the same combined functionality as a Circle Pad Pro, so any games that use that will benefit. There are also a few newer games, like Smash Bros and I think Majora's Mask, that support the extra inputs. The 3D is a lot more stable and easier to use, since it can no track the orientation of your face and adjust the 3D automatically. The system's CPU has been upgraded to take full advantage of the GPU (I'm told the older 3DS's CPU actually bottlenecks the GPU). The result is that general system performance is a little snappier, but there are a couple of games that actually run better on the new hardware. And I do mean a couple; the only one I can think of is Hyrule Warriors. There's also one or two "New 3DS exclusive" games, the only notable one being Xenoblade Chronicles. It's a better 3DS, but generally not worth the upgrade if you already have a 3DS. Most of the improvements will only matter on a game by game basis. Also, if you're coming from an older 3DS, do note that the New 3DS uses microSD cards, not SD cards. It also does NOT come with an AC adapter. Now, if you don't have a 3DS and are looking to grab one, you might as well go with this one. Despite some Nintendo-centric quirks here and there (namely digital content management), the 3DS is a great system that has built up a respectable library of games. In short, the 3DS as a console is something I would recommend to people. The New 3DS specifically is not something I would recommend to current 3DS owners.

This 3dsxl feels a little better in my hands. The 3d effects are better than the first Gen 3dsxl.

I bought this for my son as a Christmas gift, and he likes it a lot. The only thing that I don't like about this game console is that, it does not come with an AC adaptor or power supply. Luckily, my son has the DSi in the power supply is compatible with this unit.

the Vita has bored me since theres no new games. Nintendo has lots of new interesting games.

Got this for my young son to play Pokemon and am amazed at the technology packed into such a small form factor. Was a little miffed to hear the 2-D version announced a few days later, but still well-satisfied with the 3-D version. Can't go wrong with this buy!

Other than the awesome print of the galaxy. I love the bigger screen. This is a awesome upgrade.
