It took me awhile to update my old 3DS to the new one but I'm really happy I did. There is a clear difference in processing power and being able to use my amiibos is great.

I originally was not planning on buying my son a new 3ds but nintendo is releasing new titles that can only be played on this one. They also aren't including the ac charger either. Other than that this 3ds is one of the best yet. Great screen resolution. This one seems a little lighter.

Purchased for my daughter for Christmas! Big Hit! Why I graded it 3 stars, is because it does not come with everything needed to work. Had to purchase the power adapter separately. I thought this was pretty silly, and rated product as such.

Works well playing games. Controls are intuitive, and the stylus works well on the screen. My one complaint is the absence of a power cable. If it were a standard micro-USB, this would be fine, but Nintendo uses a proprietary jack for their power cable, so you HAVE to purchase this for an additional amount.

This was a replacement for my grandson's 3DS that I accidentally broke. He loves playing and promised him I would get him the same one - actually he loves this color better!

My kid begged me for this for months so I ordered it ahead of time to be sure we had it by Christmas. When she opened it she was thrilled but she couldn't play with it because it didn't have a power cable. For $200 you think they could at least toss in the cable you MUST have to power it. I should have read the reviews or the box or asked some questions when I ordered it. I wish the guy in the game department had mentioned that when I was ordering it. I had to make another trip to the store and order the cable because they were out of stock on that too. The poor kid couldn't play with her game for days. She does love it though and we haven't had any trouble with it. The battery doesn't seem to hold a charge for very long though. So, if you're a mom with limited game device knowledge -be sure to buy the power cable too!

gift for my daughter, don't seem to get as many street pass as she did on old 3dsxl and i wish they had better protection on the rear corners for when / if they are dropped. should have designed them better or mad a case that could protect rear corners. buy the protection plan

I've always been a gamer, but grew out of handhelds in my with the first DS. Bought one of these for my daughter, and had so much fun with a few games I got one for myself!

This is a great gaming device for my 5 year daughter - teaches hand-eye cordination and she loves the games! I love the games too - some are so cute and perfect for her!

Novice gamer here. Love this system. Great handheld and works great for what I need. I was confused by the lack of charger, but i understand why it didn't come with one.

I was impressed that Best Buy had them in stock. Shipping was faster than advertised and everything went super smoothly.

My children use this all the time. They're lamenting that the newer version of the device will no longer have StreetPass, so get this while you can.

The screen quality is stunning. Nice outer case with the burst like design. Would be nice to have books with the games on how to play. They quit that with most anymore.

This is easy to set up and a lot of fun to play. I did have some issues connecting with other 3ds' at first, but once it finally worked I haven't had any issues since.

Item is a little older now with the Nintendo Switch, but it is a lot of fun to play and download a couple older games and store them right on the device.

Beautiful videos crisp clean love that game port was moved to front and sound increased headphone jack much improved don't have to fish around to find sweet spot.

The new 3ds has the unique ability to give the kids access to the Internet which I think is great. As parents we have to monitor what they are viewing on the Internet.

I'm grandson was very pleased except it didn't come with a charger which was disappointing. He used it all day. It's very durable as I was not worried if he dropped it.

This is my first 3DS, and it is everything I expected it would be and more. No issues so far. The 3D option is a little odd at times, but the slider lets you deal with that.

i like the 3d feature but i also enjoy that it doesnt alway have to be on.
