This system is a great upgrade to the first 3DS with the added second nub and increased processing power.

This is a very enjoyable system for all ages! But: the first system had problem with the upper screen so i am happy with the second! Lots of games to choose from. Got lucky to grab before stock sold out quickly!

The 3DS has an amazing game library, and the "New" version is worth it just for the highly improved 3D.

Im enjoying the game system. The screen is larger and easier to see than my old one. My complaint is that it didnt include a charge cord. How cheap! Here's your system, sorry you cant play it with a dead battery! Spend extra money and waste more time ordering what should have come with the system. LAME!!!

Always bring this on a plane to play some games during a flight, game selection is great as well.

I have a PS4 for most my gaming needs but every now & then I get nostalgic for the old Nintendo classics. I got this bc not only can you get old NES games but also Super NES games. If you want to enjoy old school classics like I do, definitely invest in this.

This product is really great for on the road gaming and just having fun with friends.

The games are great. Nothing touches the creativity and whimsy of Nintendo's lineup. Pity they are compromised by such a poor hardware showing. The glossy plastic ALWAYS feels greasy. The ridiculously low-res screen hurts my eyes even with the 3D setting off. The hinge creaks and wobbles. The power-button is placed such that it is alarmingly easy to accidentally power the system off mid-game. A very hard recommendation to make. If it weren't for the saving grace that is Nintendo-gaming this would be a 1-star review.

I play this New Nintendo 3DS XL every day!! I wanted to get it because it's way bigger than my old one, but I love all the games I've bought for it so far. Can't wait for the new Pokemon games to come out on it! Definitely a worthy purchase!

This is the "New" 3DS XL. Dumb name from Nintendo, however, it is the best DS they've made. 3D looks great and has an eye tracker to maintain the 3D effect at wider angles. If you're a Nintendo fan this is a must have or a great upgrade.

It's amazing for what it does. I bought for a girl and she loves it.

Can't wait for the new 3DS, super excited on checking this baby out!

The screen resolution and graphics overall are terrible and very dated. Thankfully, that doesn't detract from the fun too much. There are many good games to play, available now. The sound is pretty decent, and for the most part the console is comfortable to hold, although the flat "joystick" tends to cause my thumb some pain after a few minutes of play. It's built well, and I like that it closes up to protect the screen.

the extra inputs were really helpful but overall it's just the same with the previous XL. Also, it should have come with a charger.

I would think the there would be a power charger included in an electronic device. There went the Christmas present being able to be used on Christmas. I have one SAD little girl.

My kids tell me this system is better than the ones from a couple years ago. The one thing is that it doesn't come with a charger so if you don't already have a charger you will need one.

Dad, the buyer: Evidently we picked the hot toy of the year. Had to order on line and drive 40 miles one-way to pick it up. Sadly, the lower screen had two lines of defective pixels. Brought it back the day after Christmas; none in stock of course, have to wait a week and re-order. Be out of commission for 2-3 weeks or more. Note - does not come with a power cable. No big deal for us, we have the full suite of support stuff from the old 3DS. Son, the 11yr old user: Boy, this thing is great! Loads Pokémon Sun and Moon much faster than the old 3DS. Graphics are a lot better. Best Christmas Present Ever! Except for the two broken lines. But I still played it for several full days before we took it back. I was really, really sad when we had to turn it in and could not get a replacement for a long time. Sure hope the next one works better!

I bought this a while ago and it is still great since I bought it of course. The games I have are Super Mario Maker, Mario Kart 7 and Terraria. I love playing the NEW 3DS XL because of how much of an upgrade it is to the DS Lite. If you are a Nintendo fan then you should buy this. (I wish i had enough money for the Nintendo Switch as well but it all gets very expensive) Hope this review helped people still deciding to purchase this 3DS.
