as a gamer i love the 3ds, mainly i love the color, fast easily connected to the wifi, the only bad thing is that the charger you have to buy separately.

Mostly word of mouth (or lack of) because I haven't heard any complaints about it and my son hasn't talked since we bought it. Must be good.

Great product.... only issue is that it doesn't come with an adapter for charging.

I played at least 50 hours worth of pokemon on it and I'm still addicted to my 3DS although a little less than the first week of owning it. I didn't touch my computer for gaming in the past week, I only touched my PC when I had to do work, every free time I had I would play on my 3DS. I love the system although a work of precaution, if you are to buy this you might want to get a DS charger as well. I almost ordered it without a charger but my friend reminded me so I got it about a couple hours before getting my charger.

I bought this for my son and the 3D is SICK! I can't believe how much better the 3D technology is on this generation! Get it now!

I bought my 3DS because I couldn't bring myself to buy a actual game console for my tv and I wanted to be able to play old school Super Mario games. I achieved that and learned that some of the newer games on the Nintendo platform are fun. I like games where you know there is a goal and you reach it by passing from level to level. I had a PlayStation growing up and I didn't use it much because it had too many goals and facets that distracted me and overwhelmed me. It comes with built in wifi and you can download games directly to the device. I don't really use the Internet application or the stylus but I do see the benefit to it when needed. If you just want to be able to play games from your childhood and don't want to have to purchase games which could easily get lost I'd suggest this device.

I love the 3DS! It's a great handheld with a great library of games. I only have two very minor complaints: First, it can be a pain to hold for long periods of time unless you have tiny hands. I find I have to angle my wrists in an odd way to hit the shoulder buttons, and this becomes painful after a while. Second, the games are primarily aimed at children IMO. I'd like to see some titles intended for adults who enjoy gaming but don't want to stare at cartoonish characters.

I am happy to see Nintendo is releasing another 3ds XL. There was some speculation that with the release of Switch, they would stop making the 3ds XL. The 3ds has a huge library of games and it is worth owning one. This special edition is especially beautiful with its glossy yellow color and packaging. I already own a regular red 3ds XL but I could not resist getting this special edition. I may probably keep it in the box because of its collectible value.

I have been a Nintendo fan since the first NES came out. But I'm not about to give this console a 5 star review out of sheer nostalgia. That being said, the technology on this thing really sucks. I'd heard that the DS has issues with Internet connectivity, but this has me nostalgic for the good old sound of AOL dial up discs. (I'm being sarcastic.) Sorry, but "new" consoles with connectivity issues are not worth the money. Internet access is a basic everyday thing now- so if I can only play pre-loaded games on it and I can't easily download or browse the web, then I'm no better off than the original Gameboy, lol. I Don't have any connectivity issues with using any other devices in my home, the only thing that has issues is the DS. Fix these issues Nintendo, and I'll update my review.

There are so many fun games to play on the 3DS and with a XL screen it makes the experience that much better.

Its a good size, bigger than the original DS.. The screen is big.. It's fun to play on.

I bought the 3ds to play the game, but wished the size was reduce down to the pocket one since I got the LL version. I have no problem with it since it gave a big screen experience, but not my cup of tea.

Got mine in the mail last night and it looks beautiful and can't wait for Sun and Moon to come out!

I bought this item for my little cousin and he seemed to love it, its small and easy for traveling and it keeps him company in car rides, i would recommend this items for parents to buy for thier kids!

My son love this 3ds console. Makes unbelievable 3d picture when you turn on the feature.

I bought a used 3ds from my buddy. It was small and not worth the money I gave him, but he threw in a Wiimote and nunchuck. I bought this one and am happy with my purchase. The only problem was that no one told me this thing uses microSD cards and not the standard size. Make sure to get a new card and transfer your data. I would recommend a higher end one to speed through the transfer process.

Had to ship this back to nintendo after a month because it broke on me sadly - went to the home screen and it froze and never could fix it - they told me to ship it back. I got it back and all of my games were deleted and erased. UGH.

Nintendo 3Ds is a great on the go console. Nice screen upgrade from last version.

I really love the DS itself, I do wish it didn't get dirty so easily. You can see every fingerprint on the outside, and since its handheld, that's a lot. The bottom screen edges touch the top screen so make sure you get a screen protector for at least the top screen. I don't like that the game cartridge is so close to my pinky when I play. More than a couple times I've accidentally removed the game because my finger pushed it. The wireless connectivity is not as reliable as my old DS Lite. The signal seems to go in and out a lot causing connectivity errors and lagging games when playing with friends.

Battery Life, Graphics and Games are all great and Fun! I haven't touched a handheld device in such a long time finally decided to go for it and get one and i do not regret it. Everything is seamless and simply works which is something you want on a platform to work! Bought Pokemon X and its great extremely recommend this to anyone who wants to kill time and have fun doing it!
