Purchased as an upgrade to my 3ds xl. This new 3ds xl is so much better. The upgrades are terrific. If you don't have one, get one. It's worth the price.

This product is perfect for my daughter to play on long car rides. Now have to purchase one for my son so they don't fight over it!

Great system. I haven't had a nintendo handheld since the original game boy colors, and wasn't too sure of what to expect from these new ones. I like it. The 3d mode works, and the angle you have to hold it at isn't too restricting, but you can always turn it off.

Pretty good, nice graphics, a bit difficult to adjust the settings at times, really annoying that it doesn’t come with a power cord

It's very surprising how well the 3D works on this system. Also, Nintendo is stepping it up with games and everything else you can do with this device

As always Nintendo makes a great handheld. Awesome improvements. Only con is the fact it does not come with a power adapter. Come on Nintendo, really ?

Have just started playing, small differences with the 3D but noticiably better than the last model. Works especially awesome with Zelda: Majora's Mask.

I originally bought the Nintendo 2DS, which was great don't get me wrong...BUT I decided to pay the extra money and get the New 3DS XL. Wow. I love the bigger screen, extra battery life, the 3D is actually pretty cool and the "New Red" color is very nostalgic. It reminds me of my old Gameboy Advance SP that I had in red. I would highly recommend this product.

My son loves this game. He wanted it for his birthday and he will not stop playing it. It has great graphics for a hand held game.

There is no charger included, and there is not a big enough notification anywhere on the product page or on the packaging itself to warn buyers of this fact. The charger IS required to operate this device, and it was quite difficult to obtain after the holidays.

The screen is amazing! The larger display makes gaming much better. The 3D feature is much more efficient with the new face recognition technology.

I upgraded from the original 3ds and this is a huge difference in quality. The screen is clear and huge and everything loads really fast and smooth.

Well done Nintendo. This was a big hit on Christmas morning. Our kids love them. The 3-D effect is really well done. Would recommend to anyone.

Sometimes a lot fun comes in a small package. My daughter absolutely loves the 3ds XL and thinks the galaxy theme is beautiful.

I got this for my wife for a Christmas present. She has a lot of down hours at work when she works 3rd and she loves it. It's small and handy!

The New 3DS is the definitive rendition of the 3DS family. I recommend this to any who don't own a 3DS. Its a marginal upgrade for existing owners.

I bought this for my 8 year old daughter. She loves it! I've had fun playing with it too. There are so many cool things you can do on the DS!

The new 3ds is a faster system and has added trigger buttons which I found useful. The added right mini stick is only for new 3ds games. I haven't used the built-in amiibo feature,I'm sure I'll use it in the future. The Home button is by itself and the start/select buttons are on the right.The only negative is, I wished Nintendo had left the Power button on top instead of placing it in the front,it's a very tiny button. Some may like where the power is . Another big difference is that the games are now installed in the front which is very nice :)

The graphics are so real looking with the 3D. This game system is perfect for traveling and all ages! It is a must if you are a Nintendo fan.
