The 3D is amazing. Definitely an upgrade from the original!

I purchased this for my girlfriend for Christmas. I travel a lot and she gets bored, this gives her something entertaining to do at night when she's winding down at night. I have had a 3DS for a while and she wasn't too into it, so it was a shot in the dark but it ended up being a great gift. We play games together (Mario Kart), and she plays games on her own (Sims). It helps her when I'm out of town, which is priceless

My daughter absolutely loves this, the only drawback is the fact it doesn't come with a charger

I upgraded to this from the old small 3DS, and it's such a major upgrade! I love the bigger screens!

This is a nice upgrade from the previous 3DS. The processor upgrade does make the system faster too.

My son has a 3DS and for years it was great. He wanted this for his birthday and worth every penny.

I was very relunctant to upgrade to this system thinking its wasn't going to be worth it. But I ended up selling my old one to buy something els and regretted it. So I got this one, I actually use the 3d on this one its a lot less nausating for me and it is noticeably faster.

This is a good system. I own a 3ds XL pokemon xy edition and compared both systems side to side and the color and image are a little better on the new 3ds but the thing that they called "right stick" is not good and uncomfortable to use. The two new bottoms are useless right now. If you don't have a 3ds this is the best option, if you already have one don't waste your money. You can wait for a special edition or something like that.

The auto focus for 3d tracking is great, the system is blazing fast u must buy this now like now!!!

Bought the DS to help keep the kids entertained while on a long plane ride to Hawaii. The 3-D option is cool. I only have a few of the classic remakes. They're fun and easy enough the kids to play.

My son loves it the screen is big and picture quality is amazing 100% recommended

Love the up grades and graphics. Like the size of the screen.....much bigger than the last model.

Bought this for my daughters birthday and the design looks really good the picture doesn't do it justice. It's a 3ds xl nothing more nothing less. You have to buy a charger separate and that sucks. Other than that she loves it and plays it everyday

This new 3DS is better in every way than the previous ones. it's biggest drawback is the fact that in North America you can't get the non-XL form of the new 3DS which my be a deterrent for some people. the load times are twice as fast if not more than the previous models and with Amiibo support this is just the best handheld Nintendo has made yet, it won't be long until the games start coming out only for the New 3DS exclusivley.

Much faster and the 3d view is a lot better. Playing zelda on the 3Ds makes it worth the purchase.

I just bought this to upgrade from my 2DS and this handheld rocks!! The 3D head tracking is awesome and it makes sense to use 3D in games now. The bigger screen also makes the mario games look good and NFC/Amiibo support is inbuilt without the need of a NFC reader.
