I remember when I bought the origional Nintendo DS a few years ago and I always play the system a lot, I notice when I heard this system is comming out so I decided to upgrade. This consoles is a huge upgrade from before and I see myself using this consoles more than my ps vita I purchase as well, best system ever!!!!

I owned both the 3DS and the 3DS XL prior to purchasing the New 3DS XL, so I can tell you that this new system is the best system to buy if you don't either own one yet.

Got this for my daughters 9th Bday March 2015, since our dog ate her Ds Lite this summer. She loves it. My younger daughter has the original 3ds, and this New 3DS XL is much nicer. It's bigger, the image looks better in 3ds mode compared to the original and my daughter likes that it has "trigger" buttons on the top.

Love the new look and games as well. Very durable and easy to carry.

I used to never put the 3d on the old 3ds and now I never shut it off. It's amazing!

While I purchase this for an upgrade for better camera control. I wouldn't recommend to those who already have a regular 3ds xl. Those who have a regular size 3ds or 2ds, might want to reconsider getting one for a better experience in some games. And some games in the future will only be supported by this version of the 3ds. I do wish Nintendo would choose a better name for their new version :D

I bought this one as a gift for a 6 years boy. He like it so much. The price is a little bit high for a gift. but it worth that

My 8 year old has a 3DS and loves it so I got one too so we could play together.

For Hand Held Gamer unit good clear screen and excellent no glasses 3D. Got to use with home exercise equipment. Was OK of stationary bike, but to small for treadmill use.

This DS is a big step up from the original DS. It has better quality, it can play the older DS games, and it can double as a controller for the Wii U. It's definitely worth the price to get this! If you're on a budget for games, go for the original DS games -- it will still work and the graphics are still good.

Super 3DS would be a proper naming for this machine. It is a improvement of it's predecessor while retaining the same look and feel of the same product. Faster. Stronger. Better.

Overall, the "New" Nintendo 3DS XL is a solid upgrade from the previous model. The overall construction feel more solid, and the button placement is much better. Tired of accidentally turning up the volume on your DS? Not a problem with the new one as the volume controls are up on the screen. Game loading seems a bit quicker, with less time between game transitions and launching of games. Not including a charger was a dumb move on Nintendo's part, but they are ten bucks so not the end of the world. Battery life seems a bit better as well, although by minutes, not hours. Overall, worth the purchase if you are looking for a new DS.

Much to my surprise, I get home with the 3Ds to find the power cord is sold separately & regular batteries are not an option. Otherwise, it is great. My 5 ur old LOVES it.

This DS is awesome for travel and the game selection can't be beat!

Yet another amazing Nintendo creation. Really good graphics. Worth every penny.
