We purchased this as a Christmas gift. The item has met the recipients expectations and then some. The 3D option is pretty impressive, the size and feel of the overall unit is very nice. This item was mainly purchased for the ability to play all of the Pokémon games. It only receive 4 stars because it does not come with a plug to charge it. You must purchase this separately. I do not understand this.

Nice design and not too big. Might not fit in your pockets though.

Lot more faster and more stable than the older one and 3ds is sooooo much better!

This ds is the best so far. It's like playing nintendo 64 on a hand held system.

The 3ds xl is definitely worth purchasing. Screen size is great for gaming and colors are very vivid. 3D feature is very easy to use and adds to the experience. Device is not to bulky. I would recommend getting the 3DS xl over getting the 3DS

Wondeful piece of Nintendo Quality. I'm a little disappointed that they made "better" hardware, but they did this with the DS as well. Out of all the consoles you can buy, the 3DS has to be the most useful and the most fun. I 100% recommend this to anyone who does not already own a 3DS. Not so much if you already have one as Xeno Blade is the only game that requires the hardware.

Aside from the really cool galaxy design, I never had a DS before and I really liked this one. I like how it's the right size to be portable and still have a good display. Plus mine looks way more aesthetically pleasing than my friend's

only bad thing is the charger is not included and i had a hard time finding it

Bought this at Black Friday sale. Graphics are good and game play is great.

This is an Awesome Portable Gaming System especially for Teens and younger.

I felt really great about the purchase. We did have an unpleasant experience when I realized I couldn't charge the 3DS on Christmas morning because the charging cords are purchased separately. I couldn't even use a 2DS cord to charge with either. I would have appreciated it If the Best Buy sales clerk had told me that this product might not come with the charging cord. I would have bought that along with the other accessories I purchased that evening. Outside of that Christmas Crushing incident, it has been a great purchase. We did end up going to Wal-Mart to purchase the charging cord. Sorry Best Buy.

Going from the original 3ds to this was a huge improvement. love the big screen

I brought this as a gift. An l must say its amazing great size the screen is perfect and the color is great! The only thing l don't like it that you have to buy the charger a part which is sad since you spend so much money on this item.
