I love that the 3DS comes with a 3D toggle. It allows me to adjust the level of 3D as the day goes on and my eyes begin to tire.

This has been a great intro gaming system for our 8 year old. Portability is great, large game library, and can also play the predecessor 3DS games too. Love the galaxy design!

The new nintendo 3ds xl has 3d you'll actually use

This is my first 3DS and handheld Nintendo system since the DS Lite. I've briefly played a friend's original 3DS and the improved 3D on the New 3DS is so much better. I'm really glad I waited so long to buy a 3DS, especially with the gorgeous artwork that is the galaxy style. It has a metallic sheen over it so it appears to have some depth to it. The inside of the galaxy 3DS is a dark navy blue with a bit of sparkle in it. The main reason I got this was to play Majora's Mask 3D and it was completely worth it. If you're like me and somehow haven't bought a 3DS yet or are just looking for a new one with a great looking outside, definitely consider the galaxy style 3DS.

3D is improved as we can experience from all angles. However battery life suffers with 3D in. Apps are pretty useless honestly.

I've enjoyed playing this console for several hours and I am quite pleased with it. The games load up fairly quickly and I have never been waiting long for this system to respond. The controls are placed in optimal places and are very easy to use.

The New 3DS XL is a huge upgrade from the original. The 3D function is actually useable now and I leave it on the entire time I play now, leading to a much greater experience overall. The c-stick is useful for the games that support it and the faster processor is very noticeable when switching to the home screen.

My son got this for Christmas and loves it, the larger screen is great, quick downloads and keeps charge for a great while.

My kids like the graphics. Nintendo continues to do a great job on developing a video game console the is very enteraining.

All three of my sons have this gaming system and use it whenever we are traveling any distance in the car. Battery life is go, also have car chargers. Great assortment of games to play. Only downside is one son who is an avid gamer has broken round movement button from playing so much. Was fixable though.

This is one of the best game systems that I've purchased. The graphics are so much better than previous models and the 3D is awesome! I do wish there were more game options, though.

I didn't even know this 3ds model existed and was just browsing through the Best Buy website when I saw it. I had to get it right away since I still had my old 3ds from 2013. This system is beautiful and sleek. Has a glossy finish on the bottom and can get fingerprints on it but it is easy to wipe and is only on the bottom of the system anyway. My only beef with this and it's minor, is that the game cartridge slot is in the lower front of the system and if you aren't careful, you might acccidently eject it while playing a game. But it's minor and it hasn't happened to me yet . Overall great upgrade and glad I made the purchase .

The New 3DS loads games almost three times as fast as the regular 3DS, so its good for hard loading games like Smash Bros and future games. The Joystick (although its different from its ancestors) makes things a little more unique as it doesn't move at all, it senses what direction you move it in.

I enjoy using the 3DS XL It was pretty nice and I loved the colors However after 4 months of use the product died on me Would not hold a charge or turn on. Called Nintendo got a repair order and received continuous contact update from them telling me they are replacing it with a red one brand new! So all in all I'm happy with the product Only disappointment is that the power cord has to be purchased separately 4:5 stars for that reason only

This is great for long trips in the car and it was easy to set up and configure to my wifi. I gave this to my 7 1/2 year old son for xmas and he loves it. The cost was a bit pricey especially since it did not come with a charger, which I think is the average consumers expectation when buying an electronic device.

So a DS is a must for any fan of digital or pocket monster games. Nintendo has had the best portable gaming consoles around and bring me right back to my childhood. However since they have stopped selling consoles that require batteries and started requiring something that has to be charged through a cord wouldn't it make since to include that cord. Well not according to Nintendo. Thanks for purchasing the device but if you want to be able to use it you have to my a charger separately.

As my grandson became more experience with his DS machine, we decided to upgrade to the DSXL, which he thoroughly enjoys.
