Better than previous hand held games, good size screen, controls are cereal

Eye-tracking 3D is awesome, makes it a lot easier to enjoy games in 3D over the original 3DS XL. The boost in power helps smooth out a lot of the choppiness in certain games when using 3D (During battles in Pokemon X/Y and Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, for example). The ability to play certain Super NES games is also a welcome addition. My only gripe is having to go into the home menu to turn wireless on and off, versus the original 3DS that had the slider switch on the right side.

So I was able to purchase one the first week it came out.the last hand held system I owned was a gameboy advance. So this was a upgrade that was needed. For the first three weeks everything was perfect. Powered through the new Pokemon ruby and all was good. Then I started havering issues. The system is not reading the battery at all. At first it would sometimes decide to turn on but now it won't even respond. Luckily I purchased the extra insurance though. When I took it to the store they said they would replace it but they had the wrong color so I asked if they could notify me when they got a new shipment. They said they could not. I also asked if they could transfer the data over to a new one and they said they don't do that. Since my system is broken, I could not transfer it to my computer . So I had to buy a microSD to SD adapter to be able to get my data onto my computer. I have been checking the website and they still say they are out of stock. Since it's been past the 15 day return policy I can't return it. So I am stuck with a broken 3DS.

The new 3DSxl has everything that the old 3DS had, expect the game cartridge goes in the front of the system. I think that the 3DS is Nintendo's best system out and I highly recommend just on the vast game library it has.

faster than the original, the 3d feature is way better and you no longer get a headache while in 3d. try to get the IPS screen the TN screen the colors look washed out

Kids are very into the Amibos and everything Nintendo.. So we have to get every new variation of DS that comes out it seems. So far seems solid, hoping it lasts as well as my son's last ds he used (heavily) for 5 years

This was my first DS system, and I couldn't have picked a better model! It looks good, fits well in my hands, and plays great.

Portable gaming Nintendo's has been always been proving to improve itself, it is a fabulous design and very durable but I highly recommend to get a case. I got 3 of these for my kids as their very 1st Gaming Portable Console and they all loved it, specially all the multiplayer games. My only downside is that they do not include the charger so please keep this in mind when you make your purchase and make sure you buy a charger. Also the battery is not so great while playing multiplayer.

As I bought this item on Black Friday and son didn't open til Christmas. While reading everything we were disappointed an accident adapter serenity included for a 200 dollar system. As well the SD micro card was not in the box. Otherwise we got system up and running good.

I love my 3DS! The screen isn't too small. The graphics are great and it brings back my childhood with the game selection.

There are great games available for the console. The software is lacking and the fact that the console does not come with a ac (power) adapter is ridiculous and a infuriating decision Nintendo made but when I bought a copy of Pokemon Y and this console I got a feeling of nostalgia playing pokemon Fire Red on my Original Gameboy Advance back in 2004. I had fun.

The new 3DS XL offers a bigger playing screen than the previous model...

I loved my 3DS XL and I knew I had to have the New model. I much prefer start and stop buttons as opposed to the old model. The new c stick is sweet. I can't wait for all the games that will take advantage of newer cpu!!!!

Easy to use, so fun. Camera is great. Charges longer than the regular DS. Bigger and easier to play.

Coming from a Nintendo DS Lite I had big expectations for this DS. It didn't let me down as it's a nice well built system with a great game library available to you.

The eye tracking feature is a great improvement on the original 3ds. There are still moments when you have to adjust your eyes momentarily at first, but once you have done so, there are no issues with the screen.

Purchased as a gift. They love it and enjoy playing it often. I like that you are able to turn the 3D feature off if their eyes get tired. Also that you are able to use the older ds games on it.

I bought this for my daughters bitthday. She loves it. The screen is really big. Easy to use. So far no problems.

Got this for my 7 year old. I like the old smaller version so I wasn't sure but it's working out great. The colors are great.
