My son wanted this for his birthday and irbid exactly what he said it was. He is very happy. The only drawback is it doesn't come with a power cable so he can't turn in the old one fir $$ because they want a cable.

I am pleased I got the Nintendo DS XL as it is exactly what my grandson wanted. He talks about the games, etc. all the time and what the Nintendo can do. I was pleased with the price that I paid for it also,

My daughter loves the 3D function that is optional on this device. We've had no issues with headache since we followed the advice for using the 3D option. Did not like the fact that the charger had to be purchased separately.

Skipped on the 3ds but decided to buy the new 3ds. Great and fun.

The games are clear and the graphics are awesome. Great purchase.

Bought it for my grandson he loves it he is 12 we had to make some rules for his birthday present we know he loves it and we requested that he take breaks from it and chores must still be done after school .

I like this better than the regular 3DS. Graphics seem better and is easier to see with the larger screen.

I bought the new 3ds to replace my old 3ds xl that broke because it would have coat over 100 dollars to Fix it anyways. If debating between an old system and the new one, just pay the difference for the new one.

Went from the first 3ds. I can definitely tell the differences between the 2! I love all the little mini games you can play when around other users! Its fun.

If this was around when I was a kid I would have never have done my chores. It has a great picture, huge selection of games, and best of all it keeps my son (13) out of my hair so I can complete my chores.

Haven't had a hand held device since the gameboy color. Already played through a link between worlds which was great. 3D is better than i expected and after getting use to the flat joystick that too was perfect.

Lots of great improvements over the 3DS I had years ago. Great battery life auto brightness works great and speakers sound good as well. Also loads noticeably quicker than my old 3DS. Very pleased with purchase.

Absolutely love the new 3DS. I wanted to get an exclusive version of it, but the basic red works just as well and I don't have to worry about scratches on an exclusive skin. Best handheld system out there!

I bought this for my girlfriend and she loves it. Only downside is now I'm using it so I need to buy another one. The backward compatibility with 2ds games is awesome as well as the selection of 3ds games.

I own a "NEW" 3DS (non XL), 2DS, and now the NEW XL 3DS. System works really well, and I have medium sized man hands (hahaha not sure why I am laughing never though I would describe hand size in a review though). And this unit is comfortable to play with in hand. I can no tell difference between this and the regular sized one. Recommend, but wish Nintendo would open the flood gates on the Nintendo Store and release more classic games for the virtual console.

Works great! The 3d effect is far better than on the previous 3ds. Very realistic. Very easy to use.

My daughter loves her new game. I also purchased 3 character to go with it, I haven't quite figured it out yet, but she is enjoying it still. I was just disappointed I could get shopkick with best buy anymore.

The New Nintendo 3DS XL is a fantastic upgrade. The 3D is much improved, the c-stick really helps with games that utilize a camera feature, and it is really nice looking. I am really glad that I picked one up.

I bought the 3DS primarily to play the games of my youth. I was so excited to see legend of Zelda and double dragon and revenge and many others on the Nintendo shop!!! I will be playing for hours on end.

This is the third one that I've bought for my kids, and they all are great products. I wish the battery life lasted longer on them, but hey it is what it is. Fun games and love seeing the kids having fun.
