It was a Christmas gift for my Teenage daughter and she enjoys the fact that you can add Amiibos and watch it come to life on the screen.

The added buttons and nub help on games like mh4u. The added processor is nice too , give just a little more boost to doing things on the 3ds.

I had the previous 3DS XL and the New 3DS XL screen is way easier on my eyes. Nintendo has done a great job with its new sensor technology.

Great system for kids & adults, but it doesn't come w/ a charger which I think is ridiculous. For something that would of cost Nintendo Maybe an extra $2 has to be bought separately for $15-$25.

I love it, a wonderful upgrade from the original system. I've never enjoyed using the 3D feature, but with the upgrade it's finally worth it.

A superior handheld device. Battery life is fantastic and the game handling is great. I can't seem to put it down. Hands down best purchase.

It's a wonderful game system, but I wish that the Micro SD card was located somewhere else. Other than that I totally recommend it to people!

I bought this Nintendo for my step-daughter's birthday. She loved the colors and the style. It took a little bit to get the wifi going, but once that was locked on, she glued to it for the rest of the day. Only thing I did not like about the Nintendo is the charger did not come with the console and I had to buy it separately. Which, of course, cost money. I get Nintendo needs to make an extra buck, but I don't think it is right for the consumer......especially if it's for a gift. That is the reason why I am giving it four stars.

This is actually the third Nintendo 3DS I've purchased, it works wonderfully, I don't use the 3D feature often but it's nice when I do use it (despite a ghosting effect often). I'd also like to say that this is a very beautiful device, I was amazed when I first saw it in person, the prettiest system of the 3DS family in my opinon!

The new 3DS is fantastic. I wasn't too sure about upgrading but I'm glad I did. The C stick is fantastic. Also the face tracking works well.

my grandson really loves playing withe his new nintendo 3ds xl. he takes it with him where ever he goes. I'm glad i bought it for him.

Great update over the original. The C stick really helps with camera control in games and the improved face-tracking makes a big difference.

I've loved the DS line of handheld consoles from a Nintendo for many years now, but this one is easily my favorite! Especially because of all the indie games that are available through the shop that aren't always available for earlier versions of the console. The exterior design on the device is also beautiful and my favorite!

I got this for my son for the holidays --- he loved it, especially the color; just remember that it doesn't come with its own charger!

I have the original 3DS, but now there are four New 3DS in the house. All four weren't for myself, but I do plan on getting one for myself soon. The greatest upgrade in this model is the faster downloads. I loved it enough to "plan" to upgrade soon. Buy.

You will need to wait a while until more exclusive games for this console are available. Meanwhile is a great upgrade for the current 3DS.

Got it through mail w/ free shipping, BB gave me $50 off towards it as they canceled my Majora Mask system, better than nothing I guess....

I love my new nintendo 3ds. I like that it can play the old platform games as well as downloading games from the online store. Great buy!
