    This was a replacement for a similar Nintendo 3-DS XL which was purchased several years ago. It is used primarily by my son, but Dad has also been known to sneak in the occasional game. Our collection of games includes both 3-D games and traditional ones, and both are enjoyable to play on the larger screen. I recommend purchasing a case to guard against minor drops and other mishaps.

    My son's old Nintendo 3ds finally died and he had to replace it. Our choice was the 3ds xl or the newer 2ds xl. Best Buy lowered the price on this model to within $25 of the leer model and that sealed the deal for us.
