The quality and design of the product is amazing..

My daughter gets a lot of use out of this and loves it

Having grown up with a Game Boy since its initial release, my standards were set pretty high. I have been removed from the mobile gaming scene for over a decade and was not impressed with previous iterations of the DS enough to purchase one. Once The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was restocked in physical form-brought back from the abyss of discontinuation-I knew I had to eventually pull the trigger and buy one. The user interface is rather simplistic; this is especially great for children or for adults who are not regular gamers. (Myself owning a PS4 and Xbox One I found it more aesthetically simplistic than I would have liked.) The system runs smoothly, and while the 3D settings take some time to enjoy at their max setting, then can easily be adjusted to a comfortable level on the side panel. The graphics are crisp and there is no lag in between frames. Ergonomically, the layout is comfortable and even with a formidable screen size, the device is not daunting or excessively large. I do not like that I had to purchase a charger because Nintendo did not deem it necessary to include one as there were "many consumers who already owned a DS and probably had a charger." What about us that did not own a previous version and did not have a charger (like myself???) Not smart Nintendo, this was a bad business practice. I have NEVER had to buy a charger separately for ANY electronic device that did not require batteries; it was ALWAYS included. Also, the removal of the SD card is a pain; it should be seamless-not a calculated production requiring a screwdriver. Overall, great system and I would certainly recommend. However, the few minor miscues by Nintendo restrict me from giving it a perfect score.

The larger screen is very nice and the games are fun too.

The New 3DS is great if you're in the market for one. If you already own the older 3DS systems it's not necessary to upgrade, but I recommend it. Just be careful with the system transfer cause it can get confusing at times and you have to take off the back plate on the system to get out the mirco SD card. Other than that its an awesome system.

Our son only wanted this system for Christmas and I don't think he put it down all day. The only bad thing is it doesn't come with a charger.

Performance, battery life, big screen. I really love it.

I purchased the 3DS XL for my son for his 8th birthday. He has never owned any type of video gaming system before so I wasn't sure how he was going to like it and if he would be able to figure out how to use it. I'm happy to report, he loves it and has experienced no issues navigating and figuring out how to play the games.

A very nice addition to the Nintendo family but it does not come with a charger that isa dumb decision, it's a separate purchase.

Great color and the new 3ds xl the screen is really large

I have a 9 year old, so he's at that transition period where he still likes some "little kid" stuff like Disney. But he's also starting to like older kids stuff, like Avengers, Batman, TMNT, etc. This system is perfect because it has a good mix of games that satisfy both ends of the spectrum. Good variety and amount of games too.

Nintendo has made a fantastic device that has a wide range of games and capabilities. If you are wondering if this can entertain you, don't worry! Every 3DS and DS game works with this device, and it has a wide variety of games on the eShop digital store! The eShop contains games from the NES, SNES, game Gameboy lines of yesteryear!

Just like other 3ds xl, but the peice is still high 200.
