I have had this for about a month now, and it is an amazing handheld console. It plays amazingly and it is really simple to use.

Got this for my 7 year old son and he absolutely loves it! The galaxy print looks awesome! Great job Nintendo.

I got this for my kid he had the ds before. he loves it and says the games are better than the ds and he really like the 3D.

This was exactly what my husband needed and wanted he is a truck driver so in his down time it keeps him busy

Thought about waiting for the Pokemon 20th edition. Couldn't wait and got this. Screen is really big for a handheld system

Love the new New 3DS (well, it could use a better name, but that's Nintendo for yah). Great additions to an already good design.

Super fast processing makes it a breeze to install new apps & games. Much faster than my old XL. Plus the new 3D face recognition makes getting that " right spot " for 3D a thing of the past. I'm finding myself going back and playing older titles with the 3D enabled because of this feature. Lastly the major update for me was the C stick. At first it's a bit odd to handle but makes a difference is games like majoras mask or monster hunter 4. Definitely would recommend to those interested in getting a 3ds.

I bought this for my son. He really enjoy playing his games on this system. It's also very portable so it's perfect on trips.

I've never owned a 3DS before, in fact, I'm coming from a DS Lite. The New 3DS XL was an awesome purchase. I bought it with Mario Kart 7 with the plan to buy Pokemon Moon upon its release. This DS has an amazing Pokemon Sun/Moon Legendary design on both the top and bottom on the unit, and for anyone who likes a more stealthy unit, this one is great with its glossy black coating. I probably would have prefered a matte black version with the same designs to eliminate the issue of fingerprints, but at least it is just the top and bottom of the unit, not the inside. I also made another big discovery about this unit compared to my friend's 3DS XL (Zelda edition): the hinge on his makes a noticeable click when locking into its 3 opened positions while mine doesn't. The click on his is loud and annoying while mine is almost silent, but still with the a strong lock into the opened position. Other than the special edition changes, this is just like any other 3DS XL and I would definitely reccomend this for the holidays for any big Pokemon fan. Just make sure to get them Pokemon Sun or Moon with it.

After playing the original 3DS XL for over a year, I truly enjoyed the system. I did however always turn off the 3d function due to the difficulty in maintaining position. The "New" model has beaten this problem with an aluminum bat. The face tracking works amazingly, and I am now playing all of my games as though for the first time! They really ARE amazing in 3d!!! Also love the new button pisitions!!!

I bought my son the Nintendo new 3DS XL for his birthday. He really wanted to play a certain pokemon game that only came with the 3DS. He absolutely loves it and plays it all the time. He likes that the screen is bigger than his DSi. And he says the graphics are amazing. He says he would recommend it to all his friends.

I bought 2 of these and my boys love the 2d & 3D choices, the large screen and everything. Haven't had any complaints yet.

Well, if you use/used the first line of 3ds or just coming from the first ds (smaller ones) you will appreciate this DS! The screen is sooo much larger and its great the C-stick makes hunting monsters that much better trying monster hunter on just the 3DS was horrible and took some finger cramping to turn the cam around, but with this 3ds its so smooth. PROS: Price is fair, game prices for this system are fair, screen, button placements CONS: none so far. ~~overall great little system for the price.

We really like our 3ds much faster Nintendo makes good stuff and best buy is easy to deal with we buy our electronics from them

Im in love with is ds, not usually into handheld systems buh this is way more then I expected. The eye tracking 3d is amazing!!

The new 3DS has really improved on the original model. The new "super-stable" eliminates the blur and distortion that sometimes happened with the original model. There are two new shoulder buttons and an extra control are a great help to games with complex controls, and will allow for easier control on future games. The improved processing speed is noticeable in the menu system, and future games exclusive to the "new" system will be able to be bigger and better. Highly recommend to any Nintendo fan.

This is worth buying for the new eye-tracking 3D alone. It makes a huge difference.

I work a lot and am rarely home, reasoning why I don't own a lot of consoles. I bought the DS mainly for the convince of portability. I can take it where I want and play whenever I want. I'm a huge Zelda fan and the graphics on the new ds are fantastic. The 3d screen is very neat. A great buy and worth the money!

nintendo really outdid themselves here. A+++ Anyone who has the old XL and is thinking of upgrading, it's worth the extra cash

The >NEW< 3DS XL is pretty slick. There is a noticeable difference in load times with the new hardware. The stabilized 3d is nice. My only gripe is the fact that the device didn't come with a charge cable, seems to be no reason for this.
