The 3d effects are a lot easier on the eyes and the visuals are stunning. I love the size and the only issue is that the light dims once in a while when playing a game, even when fully charged or connected to the charger.

Great system, this 3ds is what the launch system should have been, improved 3d, cpu and thumb number would buy again!

The New 3DS is awesome! The 3D works well! I barely used the 3D effect with the old model, now I use it all the time!

Broke my original 3ds so got the new one 3d, lighting, both great improvements also Amibo compatibility is a plus.

Now that the Switch is out, a lot of people want Nintendo to kill the 3DS and just focus on they're new console. I say that's crap, 3DS still has a lot of life in it and I'd rather have two choices of Nintendo systems that can co-exist in harmony for both consumers. I myself have both and don't want to only have one system from here on out. I don't see why people have a problem with being given more choices in games, that's part of the fun of being a gamer. This was bought for my boyfriend and while he doesn't really use it, I'm not upset over it because I know if anything happens to mine, I can always use his as my backup until I can replace my own. The only thing I don't agree with is that new ones don't come with a charger which is ridiculous reasoning on Nintendo's part. I will continue to play and support 3DS though, there's too many fun games to completely forget about and never pick up again. Also, that's just not my style.

Purchased as a gift for my kid, it's the 3rd one they've had over the years, like that it's compatible with older games, has decent graphics, a nice selection of games and keeps the kids enjoy using it on road trips.

For the the price I feel it could be cheaper but if it keeps my wife happy I suppose I'll be happy with it to.

This was for my daughter but everyone in the family enjoys playing with it.

I am glad they made bigger nintendos. Now my fiance's hands will not cramp up while he play my games for hours. :)

I brought this for my ten year old son for Christmas and he has played with it everyday since then. He loves it

I bought the new 3DS for my son after his old system's power connections were both broken. The new larger screen and features are great, but it was disappointing that a new power supply is not included with the system.

I love this game and so do my kids they like that they can play it anywhere I just wish it came with a charger.

I wasn't sure if I should upgrade the newer version of the 3DS but I will say it was great! I never used the 3D on my last generation 3DS XL but the new tracking technology provides a much better 3D experience on this new unit. The old one only worked well if you held the 3DS very steady in the sweet spot. This new one you can bounce around in your hands during hectic gameplay and it tracks your face so it can keep the 3D effect oriented correctly and it works great!

3d and screen are much better than the previous. They still have the best games around for the handheld devices

I was in the market for a handheld and did A LOT of research between the 3DS and VITA. I chose the 3DS because of it's vast library. Safe to say that I was not disappointed. The dual screens are clear and vivid, games are a blast and the 3D feature works amazing. I love the fact that you can turn it on and off. I love the 3D function but my wife prefers to have it off. I might have to buy another one cause were always fighting one another to play it. A MUST BUY!

The Nintendo 3DS XL is a Great Handheld game system. Everything is crystal clear and the games are very absorbing.

This has been a great buy. Games that had lost their zip are much more interesting because of the larger screen.

Purchased this for my 14 year old son. He loves it (even though I didn't see much value in replacing his existing 3DS). The bigger screen is nice and there are some hardware upgrades that really seem to make a difference.

Larger screen has added a new fantastic dynamic to playing experience. This is the best one that I have purchased.

My son wanted the new XL version. He enjoys it alot. Especially when we go on long car trips. Keeps em occupied.
