Very easy to set up and start playing. My 5 yr old figured it out right away.

I love it the only thing I don't like is that it doesn't come with a charger

I upgraded to this new 3ds for the new 3d tracking camera. The 3d tracking alone makes this a great upgrade. Now i'm able too play in 3d without readjusting the angle constantly.

This is our second 3DS. Kids love them. Easy to use and haven't broken yet.

This new 3ds is awesome. It does have some buttons reorganized so it might take a bit to get used to. The games port is also changed to the bottom instead of the back like the older ones. Beyond that this is a great system to own.

It has a few apps built in so its ready to play right away but if you are going to buy this toy make sure you buy a charger, it does not come with one. WiFi Access is required in order to begin each game.

First of all I read reviews for about a year before buying the new 3ds xl. I was really skeptical, because of how big it is and that I really wanted the smaller version with the changing plates. Also I thought that the games were going to look horrible due to the bigger screens. So, at the end I bought it and I said to my self "if I don't like it I will return it"... But no, this thing is awesome, it is really comfortable on the hands and it looks really good, despite the bigger screens. I recommended a 100%

Although it is pretty much a better version of the 3ds xl I love it. Load times are much shorter the buttons joystick worl smoothly. The touch screen is very good. I would recommend this system to anyone looking to buy a handheld.

X mas gift. Totally into it and keeps him going a good amount of time. Also does pictures etc so plenty for him to stay entertained. Brother got one too. They share the games they got and both are happy with these devices.

Works great. Bought for my 19 year old daughter as upgrade. She loves it. I was surprised that it was precharged. She opened it up on Christmas morning and was able to immediately use it without charging it first.Awesome.

This was a birthday gift for my eleven year old daughter and she absolutely loves it! The galaxy design is lovely. My only complaint is that for the price, it should come with a power cord. Unfortunately we had to purchase separately.

The graphics are clear the games are super cool to play with and my 5 year old is super happy to upgrade from 2Ds to 3DXL

No matter the kind of game I want to play, the 3DS has it. I have games I can pick up and play on the go, but also games I can sit down and sink hours and hours into.

I grew up loving Nintendo, and supported Big N through the thick and thin. This is the worst product marketing I've ever seen. 1) YOU MUST BUY A NINTENDO 3DS CHARGER. The system does not come with one. The assumption is that everyone getting the New 3DS already has a previous model. Assumptions. 2) Face Tracking 3D is the only reason this does not get a 1 star. It works great even in low light situations. 3) Improved CPU, so it can now play SNES titles? ok... since when did N64 architecture become weaker than SNES 16-bit? You can now play SNES games on the NEW 3DS (Only). Catch is, even if you bought on Wii or Wii U, you must re-purchase again. Average cost is 9.99. Big N needs to start cloud purchasing support, so system transfers are no longer a big deal (waited 3 days before I could play my New 3DS due to system transfer on the backend at N). As well as buy one buy for all system support. Overall, to new handheld customers, this is a great device. To my friends, I will not recommend unless it is super cheap.

Wanted to play games on the go without worrying about killing my phone. The 3ds provided that and so much more. The 3d and face detecting feature is an awesone addition. Currently playing smash brawl and cant put it down !!!

I got this for my daughter for Christmas. Tons of games are available for it between 3ds, original ds, and virtual console. Make sure you also buy a charger, since it’s not include (thanks Nintendo?).
