I was hesitant, at first, to go with the XL model due to stories I had heard about a drop in resolution quality, but now that I have an XL model I can't picture using anything else.

A great system to own with plenty of great 3DS and classic eShop games to choose from. Great for first time buyers and those wanting to upgrade from the original 3DS.

I had a few choices for the Nintendo3DS but this one stood out by far. with it's galaxy graphic and mat navy blue interior finish the kid is sure to be over the moon!

Awesome product. Easy to use, kids love it. Only downfall is ot doesn't come with a charger.

Bought this console for my husband, he loves the new color, he also loves that he keeps it in his pocket and can meet a lot of people thru street pass. He says that it helps with stress =)

I purchased this after owning an original 3DS XL for quite a while. First, the galaxy skin looks very nice. It has more of a metallic finish than seen in the product picture. The back of the 3DS is a dark purple color and the inside is dark blue. The ABYX buttons are colored like the original Super Famicon controller buttons. All of the buttons have a nice press and click to them. They feel firmer than the original and have a slightly silkier finish. The clamshell screen has a firmer click and lock than the original. Buttons and ports have been moved around. The stylus is now on the button right, the audio jack on the bottom while the charging port is on the top. The game port is on the lower left and the volume control is now on the left side of the upper screen, parallel with the 3D slider. The home button has been changed into an easier to press button, and the start/select buttons have been moved to directly under the ABYX buttons. Additional shoulder buttons and a pseudo-analog stick have also been added. I personally like the new layout better than the original. The "super stable" 3D feature that tracks your head and automatically adjusts the 3D makes it quite a bit more pleasant and usable than the original, and I've found myself using it more often as a result. It doesn't seem to work very well in a dark environment however. Overall, I'm quite happy with this model of the 3DS and would recommend it.

My son absolutely loves this gaming system. He plays it when we're on the go. All his friends have them and they love joining them and playing together. Fun thing to have at sleepovers.

This 3ds is a great handheld with an amazing library of games. I bought the new version so I could play Majora's Mask. Even if you have an original 3DS, this is a worth while upgrade.

I have owned every gameboy to date and this console has made great improvements since the DS. I like the new 3D feature over the previous 3DS. Works great can't ask for anything more.

Still getting use to it. I'm very satisfied. Graphics are great. Love the 3D

I bought it for my 7 year old son after he outgrown his DSI. The new 3 DSXL has apps like Netflix and Hulu Plus which are great for vacation, it keeps then occupied while travelling.

Can't beat Nintendo for handheld games. I love Nintendo's handhelds and unfortunately went with a Vita early in this handheld lifecycle. PS Vita was nothing but a dissapointment. I've already played more on my 3DS and it's been less than a month! Only downside is the fact that there is no charger in box... Look for the new Nintendo to be announced soon though. If you are on the edge like I was you will enjoy the purchase.

My son loves his Nintendo 3ds. He can talk with his friends, play games and it's portable. Only downside is it doesn't come with a power cord. You have to purchase 1 separately..

My initial thought when buying this was that I would regret it just because it's expensive. But definitely no regrets at all! I love it

My daughter enjoys the screen, battery life, and function of this new model. She has owned every Nintendo model of this hand-held gaming device since it became available to the public.

Do what suppose to do. Nice screen, fast, easy to configure, got internet working in a minute.

My son absolutely loves this item....BUT just know when ordering it, that it DOES NOT come with a charger. We ordered this from Best Buy weeks before Christmas. It was wrapped up and on Christmas my son opened it and was all excited. When we went to charge it there was nothing to charge it with. On a positive note, we had bought him a separate carrying case, headphones and a charger that plugged into our car. Good thing because nowhere had chargers available to buy right after Christmas. We got it almost 5 days later. Good thing we could charge this in our car. I do think it should come with an initial way to charge it though. Otherwise my son absolutely loves it.

Glad I decided to go with this option. Yes, it does not come with a charger, but doing research before purchasing would answer that question. This was a buy I was very happy with

Great, intuitive system with new features that put it above the standard model. I'd recommend considering getting screen protectors, however, as the screen can be somewhat sensitive.

We have had the older versions of the DS and they all still work just got new one for 5yr old bigger screen and doesn't scratch like the past ones. its the best thing to have to throw in your purse or bag and go they can stay busy in the car or anywhere they have to wait and get bored. I bought the warranty just in case with a 5 yr old you never know but they are so durable I doubt we will ever have a problem.
