I purchased this for my son, to replace his old DS. he had been using his sister's 3ds for a few months and has assured me that the "new" 3ds is far superior to the old one.

The technology in this device is slightly better than PSP which came out in 2005. Doesn't seem worth the price in 2017 especially when you consider the Switch handheld which is only $100 more has much better technology.

Bought this for my son. He loves it and likes the Galaxy design. Easy to use.

I was looking all over for this handheld and I finally got one! The games are awesome and the 3D is great. Very sturdy and well built product. Their warranty IS AMAZING! I had to have mines serviced for accidental damage and they had one back in my hands two days later (may vary). I highly recommend this for anyone who likes gaming on the go and want to have an awesome library of games to choose from.

Would definitely recommend this one if you haven't upgraded yet, but if you already have a previous gen 3ds xl I wouldn't bother.

Great device, even an adult can use it because you can play old school games on this device. FYI you also need to buy the charger because the product doesn't provide one.

I got Super Smash Bros and Super Mario 3D Land for the 3DS XL, and both of them have been great. The 3D capability isn't distracting, which I was concerned about beforehand.

Just pure amazing. I haven't had a ds since the first one came out and this one is worth every penny spent. I've spent already well over 60hrs and continue playing it everyday.

Purchased as a family gift and it's the most used around the house next to the Wii U. The new additions are wonderful--especially the 2nd joystick and built-in amiibo support.

Game system is easy to use the only thing I don't like is where the power button is, it is easy to hit when in the middle of playing a game. Other than that, I really like it.

My kids have had one for a while now, I never quite understood why they were so hooked on it. I decided to pick one up and now I'm hooked. I get to play all these great games and even watch Netflix on it while on the go. Especially cool when you are out shopping with the wife and she is trying out every shoe in the store.

my son wanted a Nintendo ds console, not the old one but the new 3ds console. Apparently this new unit has improved bells and whistles that the old console did not have.

After gettin the 3DS for my son, I realized that I should've gotten 1 early. Me & the wife play it more than he does lol. We make sure to play after he goes to bed lol

Bought it for my brother. Got it at a discounted price. The Nintendo 3DS family has a great collection of games. Fast shipping. Overall very satisfied.

She has a perfectly fine FS3DXL, but she loves purple. Now we have one that stays in the car. Also love the ease in charging with the wireless charger.

let me break it down for you. nintendo wants you to pay premium price for a 2 year old system that comes with no charger and ugly colors and on top of all that, a pain in the buttocks to replace the sd card in the back cover. this system is not worth it at all. as i am writing this review it is only 2 more weeks until black friday and just a few more weeks until the holiday season. now if you want my opinion, just wait a little longer for a sweet discount that will most certainly be coming soon. patience is a virtue folks.

Truly addressed all the drawback of the previous 3DS. Odd placement for a memory card, so I would recommend getting a high capacity one to avoid having to take the back off.

I have several Nintendo hand held products. This one is really fun. I did not find it difficult to get used to the 3D effects, but some of my friends did not like it.

Had the old 2ds and got them for the girls they love it. They enjoy play time and have something to do on long car rides. And its backwards compatible for games. Awesome!
