We've had a 3DS XL launch edition which worked fine, however the new model 3DS XL has new features. This was definitely a step up in performance.

Bought this for my daughter. Her brother had older model. She seems to like it - Nintendo has made some nice upgrades from the previous version.

This was the perfect item for my 4 year old the get her into gaming. Her hands were too small for my ps hand held. And nintendo has more age appropriate fun games

I have always fount the Nintendo DS line was likable. However; Nintendo does not do enough collaborations, or allow their system to fully reach out to handle better games. Yes, Mario will always be fun... but what about something more? The graphics aren't the best out there but what can you expect from something that can provide you with 3D projectivity without the need for glasses! All in all, the system is great, and the battery life is even better. The games that are out for the system are sufficient to keep you entertained for hours on end. I would recommend this system for non-avid gamers or gamers looking to wind down.

New Nintendo 3DS XL is amazing little machine packed with entertainment. My son really enjoys the unique/original games that can only be played on this system.

This is Nintendo's best hand held to date the new 3D motion detection is a great new feature no longer do you have to hold it in the same spot while you play games.

I upgraded from the 3ds xl to this black new 3ds xl and do not regret my choice and I love the new 3ds's c stick and the 3ds working make a great games feel better.

I bought this item for my granddaughter's birthday on the recommendation of another granddaughter who already had one. They both love playing the games on it.

The new 3ds graphics are great. My daughter has had the regular DS and DSI and says she love the bigger screen and the 3D effect when playing different games.

You knew w what you are getting with a Nintendo console. Great console that won't break the bank. The xl screen is easy to see and the new 3d setting works well.

The 3d on this modle is much more natural to use. No more finicky angles in order to enjoy 3D. Switching between different applications is much quicker also

She's been dying for a Nintendo 3DS and was so happy to get it on Christmas. Just like its predecessor, it's a great gaming machine that keeps her entertain!

3D is finally a viable option for playing. The extra "control stick" is useful enough to play lots of the games you were limited to using consoles for in the past.

Overall it is great. This new model is the best, so far. However, it is important to get a charger, otherwise you have to wait for a long time to actually play it.

He played with a friends 3DS and loved it. We bought him one and he enjoys playing with friends. It works well and networks with his friend for battle mode.

I recently upgraded to an iphone 6 and the difference is amazing. Great product, sales Associate great and will always continue to do my shopping at Best Buy

Was a christmas present doesn't come with a charger and to change the sd card you have to unscrew the bottom of the case, pop it off. No charger can you believe that!

This is a great gaming device for those who don't want to be tied to a tv.

Get system for kids and adults, easy to handle with 3D option easy to use.

The 3d viewing angles have been greatly improved over the original 3ds. And of course having the great library of Nintendo games makes this a must have system
